Just for fun I thought I'd see if even one thread could stay on the same subject for as Ugly said"one page",so here is my challenge I'll start everyone out on a subject and see how long that subject lasts, can a thread stay on subject?
we shall see,the subject I believe could work well would probably be "friendship" so let's see if there can be at least one thread for once that lasts one page or even longer without changing topic or getting derailed totally!
Friendship-I've made friends with people by just interrupting a conversation or listening to what someone has to say,how have you forged a "friendship" with people?

After a ten minute fight (kids never really hit hard) I became friends for life with Johnny Meyer. We were in 7th grade.

Boys! :D I remember my brothers friend punched him in the mouth, the next day they were playing street hockey together. Lol That's so weird and awesome.

Fighting and hockey - what's the difference?

Last night I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.

Seems like the real friends in my life have been there for years and we have gone through things together. It isn't so much that we all agree on things, but we have shared experiences.

The older I get and now meet new people (who could make wonderful friends), I find that I just don't have the time to nurture this into more. Hardly have time for the older ones, and those I want to keep alive.

My best friend and I had a rough start.....we were somewhere around 13. He asked a question I didn't want to answer. I punched him and put him in a locker. Janitor had to let him out and we didn't speak again for about 3 years. Now...he's a great friend....he's forgiving thankfully. lol

The last fist fight l got into got really nasty.
It was during an intense Call of Duty video game shoot out...and l caught them cheating using an online code they entered in when l wasn't looking.

My friends had to break it up because l was getting beaten up pretty badly.

...it ended well tho...when they finally got Grandma to stop pounding on me...we shook hands and made up.

I picked up a smoked gouda with bacon the other day.
It actually paralyzed me for a couple of minutes.

Good luck with the subject! What you're asking is like handing everyone in a church a mike and inviting them all to speak.

Anyway, my wife is my best friend.

It's more plausible since you posted on friendship!
