Sabbatical

Thanks to all the people who have been so kind to me, much kinder than I deserve. I am sorry for saying things that may have been unlovely or unkind. I am also sorry for causing people to worry about me.

I believe I am doing no good here, and maybe causing harm.

So, I am no longer going to post. If anyone would like to correspond with me via personal message, I would like that, too.

If you want to keep posting just go for it, everyone is still growing, and nobody just walks around without ever making mistakes. I don't say much, but i have seen your posts.. seen the people who pretty much flag every post you make too. You shouldn't let opinions or constant hate dictate what you do, especially if you think you are doing something useful. If you think you are doing something wrong just observe yourself and line it up with scripture to find the answer. But if you truly believe you are doing no good whatsoever and just causing harm it is what it is i guess, but i don't see it.

I feel like you're leaving because you felt under attack in the other thread, and I'm sorry about that *huggggs* I'm gonna PM you and say hi. It take guts to open yourself up, and vulnerability is a beautiful thing. You did great. <3

I shall miss you Galatea we've had good times and bad times,and I am not upset with you,only concerned because you have been a bit of critical with people and I can't help but feel you have been upset about something and taking anger out on people,I bear you no grudge and will be praying for you and if you come back hopefully God willing everything will have been resolved and forget all the heated times and discuss again more peaceably.

Gal, I disagree with you on so many things. But in the eyes of Jesus, you are just as loved as I am. Maybe take this time to find out more of that love. You really do need to start loving yourself but you never will until you understand that Jesus loves you, like really, really love you.

I haven't been able to keep up with all of your posts, but it looks like you're going through some rough times and I am very sorry to hear that.

You post a lot of thought-provoking things in the forum, and while we all have very different experiences and opinions, at least you have the backbone to start the conversations. I always admire that.

I know your students are very blessed to have you as their teacher.

I'm sorry you are going to take a Sabbatical. At times we all need to step back a bit and reassess our walk with the Lord, our lives and where they're headed, etc.

I hope you won't go, but I understand if you feel you need to do this.

Please know that I love you completely in Christ. You are my dear sister in the Lord and you're a child of God. And I will miss you greatly. We all go through hills and valleys, God loves us throughout our journey and we need to love one another through it as well.

It saddens me that you don't feel you're useful here or are causing harm. I'm not here as often as I'd like lately, but if you'd like to pm me ever, any time, please feel free to do so.

We need to love on our family when they're hurting and if that means you need some space, then that's what we need to afford you.

I have loved some of the threads we've shared in together. I actually thought you were missing in action because I wasn't seeing threads with you in them lately. But then again, I've not been able to be as active as I normally am.

Today though I read in one of your threads and realized you have a deep wound that needs healing. I'm truly sorry you're going through the pain of heartache. I wish you weren't. I want everyone to be happy, but life throws us unexpected curves.

Well that’s a bummer. I am not going to put a like on it . Your posts are cool,and will be missed. Still do as you must ,and feel you should do . Hope ya change you mind . Still may the Lord guide you always.

I am sorry for what you've been through and I'm sorry to see you leave.

What I'm going to say is not out of criticism, but simply out of heartbreaking realization and genuine concern... I truly believe that the emotional trauma you suffered recently has caused such deep emotional pain that it is causing you to become defensive and easily triggered, like when an animal is wounded and afraid. (I'm not saying you're an animal...its just an analogy that I've always believed because it has happened to me lots of times)...

I know the real you is the one we all have come to know and love here because your spirit comes out through your words, and you have a beautiful, gentle spirit that has left an impression on a lot of us here.

I hope and pray that you find peace and comfort in your soul once again soon and that you won't be away too long.
