Had a dream last night. In it an unknown woman gave me an amazing painting
to finish off which she had started. It was stunning, a beautiful landscape with
mountains, a valley and a lake in the background, so life like.

The lighting was bright like the sun was low in the sky, either early morning or late
evening. In the foreground was different plants.

The woman had half finished some lilac and she passed the painting to me to finish
off the lilac. It was only a small area and the last part of the painting to complete.

I was surprised, didn’t think I was good enough and that I would spoil the painting.
I also did not want to keep the picture and claim the credit for doing it but she didn’t
seem to mind and wanted me to finish the painting and keep it!
So I got on with finishing the lilac, it wasn't hard it was the easiest bit as I could see the
brush strokes and had the right colour, then I woke up.

The dream immediately made me think about my aunt’s life, in God’s eyes it’s a
beautiful painting despite the ups and downs. She is beautiful in His eyes created by God.
The painting of her earthly life is near completion and I have been handed the reins to
help complete the last part as I look after her.

I don’t feel qualified and I don’t want to spoil it and make a mess of it, but I have been
entrusted with it. I am helping her to complete the picture of her life in her old age.

Wow Miri that dreams is beautiful it is the perfect symbolism of your aunt passing the torch to you.I also had a dream last night that I am curious about. As I have spoken about many times in the bdf I no longer really have a stance on the rapture due to the damage done to me in my early first year of being saved from all the false prophets and teachers on youtube in fact I could almost say I have pretty much given up on the rapture happening any time soon at all.

However last night I had a dream that there was this hand made cup and I don't know what the material was made of but I knew that God and I had made this cup and there was a lot of writing on it that he and I had written over a period of time I don't really know what all the writings said but I knew he and I had written them for a long time. In the dream He was using me as a puppet he had full control of my hands and I had a pen in my hand and he used my hand to write on the cup and the words were don't give up on the rapture it will happen a lot sooner than you think it will, but the part that intrigues me is when he wrote you will be awakened by the sound of thunder.

Honestly this dream is interesting to me and I think I know the meaning of most of it but I am seeking the perspective of others first, the last part is what I don't really understand when he wrote you will be awakened by the sound of thunder

Ack, I'll say it here too.

Beautiful! And a bit annoying since my dreams usually end up about "I have to go to the bathroom." I'm really not sure how much I'd freak knowing I'm probably entrusted into the same path -- helping someone finish his life. Honestly, I freaked over his teeth surgery knowing he needed it, but wanting him to decide how many teeth he'd lose. (Some or all.) I can make decisions for his life when I have to, but if it's like painting a flower, the strokes will fly off the canvas. (When I get nervous, my hands shake terribly, so that's not exaggeration.) I am glad you get these dreams and they comfort you. And I'm so glad God isn't someone who thinks one-size-fits-all.

(BTW, go back to alphabet game. I left you a message.)

Im confused about the rapture as well, I suspect the one left behind idea isn’t accurate, but rather
that all those still alive will be transformed into temporal bodies to eternal beings - transformed
in the twinkling of an eye idea. But that is another debate. Lol

The writing on the cup is interesting, I’ve had dreams about cups or vessels in the past.

Maybe you need to look how “the cup” was used in the bible, I see it as symbolic
as some sort of task or work to be done. Maybe on or for others, maybe a work being
undertaken within yourself as you are being transformed. I think when cup is
used in the bible it can also mean judgement, abundance, something poured out or good
or bad.

There are loads of cups in the bible with lots of symbolism.

There is a lot about thunder too, maybe thunder represents God?

Best thing to do is try a little word study of thunder and cup and see if that helps.
Dream interpretation is as much to do with the emotions and what you felt in the
dream, as it is with the actual dream. So for example you could have the same dream
but feel fear in one and at peace in another, the feeling behind it can drive the
meaning of it.

So like the dream about the painting, I felt surprised humbled, gratitude, but also really
emotional and touched by the wonder of it.
