I would LOVE to see the Pandragon series played out on screen, but I'd be so afraid to watch it because D.J. MacHale created such beautiful worlds and I see them so clearly in my own mind that if played out, they might be ruined.

I agree, that is the main problem with books made into films. Sometimes you have to pretend that they are just completely independent of one another. Like Eragon or The Golden Compass/Northern Lights.

I've always thought that any book by Alyssa Brugman (bar her horse books which I'm not too interested) would be interesting to see visualised in film, especially Solo or Finding Grace

The Entire Bible!!!!!!!!
It would be like watching LOTR, except it wouldn't be fiction, and it would be about 40 hours worth of watching.

I've read the books so is the series any good? (I don't want to watch in fear of it being "ruined" for me)

As for what book I think should be adapted into a movie... I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Dude, if you thought the whole LOTR trilogy was long...You can't imagine making the whole Bible into a movie. Each book would be a full length film...it would take months.

Not if they make like every other book-to-film adaptation in history and omit and summarise events... but that wouldn't be a very nice thing to do to the Good Book would it :(

"A Knight of Another Sort" (A biography of Charlie Birger). There hasn't been a movie made about him since the 1940s and Ed Norton would be a perfect cast.

"Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley

Although that would make a pretty creepy movie...
