With a rematch of last years title game, #1 seed Clemson takes on #4 seed Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. In the next game #2 seed Oklahoma takes on #3 seed Georgia in the Rose Bowl. Who wins this year? I see Oklahoma beating Bama.

I see many OSU fans crying about not getting in and say stuff like "but we won a conference championship". Let's not forget last year how Ohio St. got selected when PSU won the Big 10 and also beat OSU. You have no more reason to complain lol

Yeah, I don't have a dog in this fight. But I would've rather tOSU get that fourth spot than 'Bama. It's a down year for 'Bama, and I think the SEC sometimes gets a bit overrated.

What I really would love to see is a play-in game between 'Bama and Ohio State for that fourth spot.

It was hard for the committee to pick a 2 loss team over a 1 loss team, especially a team whose only lose was to a strong rival. It would be great for the playoff system to expand to 8 teams instead of the current 4. Of course, the present system is a vast improvement over the previous system which only had the top 2 teams competing for the national championship.

Well, you can't rationalize or justify a 31 point beatdown to an unranked Iowa team at a time where Ohio State was playing good football. Bama's loss was to a strong rival, and far less than what Ohio State gave up to Iowa. Auburn could've beaten anybody with the way they were playing and had a home field advantage 3 out of the 4 game stretch towards the end. Did the committee get it right?

Yes, Bama deserved to get in over Ohio State, even if they were the conference champion.
