Maybe I ate too much curry last night!

But anyway I had a strange dream, it caught my attention because I’ve
had dreams with similar elements in them before.

In my city we have a massive indoor market with lots of stalls and shops.

In the dream I was in this market with lots of others I knew, but as
well as the shops and stalls, there were also little houses and rooms in it.

Then these tornadoes (always 5 of them at any one time) kept looming on the
horizon and coming towards the market. People were seeking shelter and
trying to find a shop or stall or room which was closed in and sheltered for
safety.

The tonadoes hit and we all made it through them, then we kept seeking more
places of safety as yet another 5 tornadoes starting coming, then another 5.

Then for a brief moment I could see into the future and see who got
hit and what harm would happen to them, ie thrown about, shop damage etc.

Then the scene changed and me and an unknown friend were rushing along
the street hurrying to her flat to find safety from these tornadoes. This was in
a very specific area of my city. She lived in a block of flats and I remember
wondering if a block of flats was safe if a tornado hit. Maybe it wasn’t safe?

Then suddenly this tornado caught up with us and was along side us. I realise this is all
bizarre, but the tornado had feet and they were pointing forward as if it would pass
by us. In the dream somehow I knew the tornado had the ability to decide which
direction it would go in. Even though it was ready to pass by, I shouted at my friend to
grab hold of a lamppost and hold on tight in case it changed direction.

Then I woke up! Told you it was bizarre. :D

What caught my attention though is that I once had a dream about a
tornado before with feet which could do what it wanted and that seemed to
come true symbolically.

It was to do with our new church building which was built on land previously the site of
a large school. The land adjacent also had large ancient planning protected church on
it with very large wooden gothic looking door, that church was still in use at the time.

Before our new church was even thought of, I had a dream about multiple tornadoes
coming towards both the school and the old church. The tornadoes passed by the school
but they hit the church and destroyed it until not one stone was left standing on another.
The wooden door was completely crumpled and folded. In that dream the tornado with
feet ran out of the old church having done its damage and it ran up the road and went
passed the school building.

In real life much later we got planning permission to build our new church on the school site,
while the old church on the adjacent land was closed down. Previously it had been used for
weddings and the very occasional service by the Anglican Church, but not much else.

I also had a rather dramatic dream some time about about the market in the city,
in which it was hit by floods as high as you can see. Somehow me and some friends
got advanced warning of this flood and tried to warn everyone else, but people
didn’t listen until the flood was coming and almost upon them. In that dream too
it was as if I could see the flood waters rising in another hidden world which was
seperated from our world by a paper thin partition. When the floods came they
tore through this partition and hit the market.

So what do you think, too much cheese. Lol
Maybe I should become Mrs Noah!

Plus any one know what the number 5 represents in the bible.

Maybe it means whatever your next plan is, you are going to be successful. :)

Since dreams are to clarify something within us, if you don't know what five means biblically, then it doesn't matter what it means biblically. It's kind of like God teaching us with what we already know. If we don't know what a boogeewink (made up word) is in real life/awake, he's not going to suddenly include a boogeewink in our dream. Does five mean something to you awake?

And honestly, it's something like "bad things happen in three." No, they really don't, however even knowing that, I tend to think they come in twos. I often wait "for the other shoe to drop." Considering I have two feet, by Lynnie Logic, that has to mean bad things come in two, right? But I do know it's just some weird thing with the number two for me, and it wouldn't mean anything to anyone else. Maybe five has a similar place in your mind. Or, maybe it has a good feeling to you. Because for me, five was the number of people in my family when I look back and think life-was-simple back then. (Also, Lynnie Logic that means nothing, except in my mind.)

True story about a tornado. Before-we-met hubby went to Jesus '72, which was a weekend-long Christian musical festival held annually in these parts. Picture Woodstock but fewer people, no drugs or nakedness, and people actually can remember the whole thing. It was even held in a farmer's field in Lancaster County. (Lancaster is where the Amish are in these parts, but it's also farm country because of that. Considering that farmer knew the festival included electric guitars, drums and amplifiers, he wasn't Amish. lol)

A tornado hit and was coming right to the festival, and since it was out in a huge field in farming country, there was no place to run. So everyone watched it and prayed. And it took a 90-degree turn right before the winds would have torn stuff apart, and then evaporated. Tornadoes aren't known for turning that hard, so it is assumed God's hand was involved. Cool, huh?

I say exceptionally cool, that was God in motion right there! Nahum 1:3 tells us "The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet." Pretty awesome

Amazing, I’ve heard similar stories also. :)

Dont really know what 5 means to me as an adult. I don’t give any attachment
to numbers in that sense.

As a child it was sort of a lucky, favourite, complete kind of a number.

Little Mirie is still in you as much as Little Lynnie is in me. Because of that, I suspect 5 is lucky/favorite/complete in your dreams today. Especially since it kept repeating and turned out good, even if terrifying.

When I dream about my older brothers, they're often still kids or young adults. It seems normal in my dreams. Not so normal when I wake up. lol We're really a combination of all of our experiences, and often dreams don't care when you experienced it.

I don't think yours is curry cheese, but you might only figure out what it means in the future.

You're a little odd to me. (In a good way. :p) Some of your dreams are so right-on with what God is teaching you about life right now. I used to do that when I was younger, (before "I have to go to the bathroom" ended up being the core of most of my dreams. lol) That part isn't odd. The dreams that represent something in the future to you are the odd ones. As hard as I try to be rational all the time, (which is hard to pull off as an eternal optimist too
), you are one of very few people that I truly believe God gives you information, even about the future, in your dreams. I will never believe in prophetic dreams, as in "God's going to do such and such in the future, believe you me," but I think he does give you wisdom of what the plans are for the future of people you know to encourage them. I don't believe in fortune-telling prophetical, but you seem to have a gift of wisdom, which is another kind of prophetical gift that helps God's people.

In my life as a believer, I can count on one hand the number of people I've seen that can do that. It's a very rare gift. And I think God planned you well to give that gift to you. (You are that because of the life you were given. All that stuff that happened to you as a kid was perfectly planned by God to make you the mighty woman of God you are today.) He picked the right kind of person to give it to, because let's face it. Most people would be all about the look-at-me, (especially me
), but you aren't ever that kind of person.

And important question -- why are you eating curry cheese? Isn't that spicy? My GERDs is rumbling just thinking about it. lol

Aw shucks - mighty woman of God
I think that’s the nicest thing anyone has said, though I don’t see it in myself
at all. Lol

Oh and the curry, there is a takeaway near us that does restaurant quality curry’s.
They also are a restaurant.

They are amazing and have a wide range including creamy and mild. The one we ate had
chicken, lycees, pineapple, coconut etc. I don’t actually eat a lot of cheese but maybe
curried cheese would be good. Lol

Oddly you’ve just answered a question about my aunt. She often asks where little
Miri is or talks about her sons as if they are little and still living at home. I’ve often
wondered if she has been dreaming or is just a bit muddled up. I rarely dream about
my younger days though so thought it was odd. Maybe she is dreaming about us all
when we were kids after all, as she seems to get like this after waking up. :)

Ps must spread some rep about!

don't grab ahold of the lamp-post, grab ahold of Jesus',
sounds like something or someone' is trying to make you 'think'
that you have to 'choose' something else that you wouldn't ever think about,
or feel at this weak moment in your life-time...

it's just a test, little one, they will continue until we reach a certain
point in our lives,,. Hold on, it's for certain that He is reaching out to you in His precious Love
in your refining...

just acknowledging such an intimate, personal, experience, it's a 'true Witness',
for yourself, and for others...

I don't think numbers are necessarily personal to the person. Look at Joseph interpreting dreams in Genesis. The two prisoners with the 3's.. The 3's were days.

So it wasn't about 3 meaning something to the dreamer. Interpretation comes from the Lord.

And they replied, “We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.” “Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied. “Go ahead and tell me your dreams.”
Genesis 40:8 NLT

If you feel like there's something to them, ask God. When I do, He speaks.
My wife and I swap dreams sometimes, one's we feel that are significant, if we have an interpretation for each other we tell it. If not, we won't say anything.

Interpreting is not a matter of 'I thinks'.. I have learned that when you have the interpretation, you know it. Fear and unbelief will try and tell you otherwise but you can push that away.

C.S. Lewis affixed his site to a lamp post in a snowstorm once, and that was the beginning for his Narnia series. (Ha! And now you might just have to read the book to see when the snowy lamp post showed up.)
