What did you guys think of it

I thought it was good not great. Not "trash" like many claiming it was. It kind of dragged in the middle but it had great action. Thought The Force Awakens was better though. Also was very similar to the Empire Strikes Back. What do you guys think of the story and where will it head?

Heh I kind of have the opposite view, I thought it was great and really did not like Force Awakens.

Anyways, I kinda speculate that maybe Rey and Kylo Ren are going to hook up. Lot of tension between those two! While the Force Awakens leads us to believe that Rey and Finn would hook up, now it is pretty obvious that Finn has a new beau in the new lady character (I forget her name). So like where does that leave Rey? It leaves her with Kylo Ren!

I disagree, while yes I see the tension there, I believe that relationship went out the window once Kylo Ren rejected the light

Heh I don't think Kylo Ren has totally rejected the light though. After all he could not bring himself to kill Rey. Kylo just doesn't want to be told what to do is all though. Though you could be right, he is a pretty loose cannon at the same time. I suppose his unpredictability is what makes his character interesting, lots of cards still on the table for him, and they can really take his character in many different directions.

Ray seemed smitten when she saw Poe Damron. To Ezekiel8...Rose is her name.

When I watched it, it was oki. I thought the most interesting part was right at the end when Skywalker disappeared, and the conveyed idea was that he was going to be there in spirit. I instantly thought about Jesus, weirdly.

Lol the biggest spoiler of them all! Frankly I was lil disappointed with that, not so much his death, I thought that was appropriate that way they can keep Mark around for the next movie to train Rey, but I was personally hoping that Luke would cut off Kylo Ren's hand in that last duel. Lol I even told my dad after the movie, "someone needs to cut Kylo Ren's hand off, Anakin got his hand cut off, Luke got his hand cut off, someone has to keep that going and cut Kylo's freaking hand off."

Better than the prequels.......barely.
My complaints:
I detected a veiled snub at the Bible during Yoda's cameo.
The mutiny thing was stupid and unnecessary.
Rey's parents-reveal was a let down.
They killed off Snokes too soon; should have been in the next one.
His red armadillos were weird.
I was thinking Phasma would've had a more prominent role.
Overall poor character development.
Too many comedy moments.
Star Wars is supposed to have some
good one liners, but they took it too far.
I'm a SW fan since I was 10, so I'll
see every one they make in my lifetime.
Praise God this one was a freebee for us!
Our neighbors gave us movie passes a few years ago as a
gift for taking care of their house while they were out of town.
I'll buy the Blu-Ray when it comes out.

I have not seen it, probably wait for blu-ray but I am a whole series (collection in this case) kind of gal. What stinks about personality is if we are talking 5+ movies we are talking 10+ hours and I'm the idiot that watches them all, at one time...

Marvel really messes me up were talking into the day...lol Thank G-d Star Wars can fit into one day!...lol

Im actually okay with the revelation of Rey's parents. They didn't go with the convenient "Luke is her father" route so they told the story, a girl who comes from nothing can become great.

I agree with you, but I also don't think that was actually the Rey parentage reveal. Remember Snoke was manipulating their connection, so it's possible that Snoke implanted a false thought into Kylo's head to try to manipulate or turn Rey. One could compare that to Snoke corrupting Kylo in the first place and how Kylo's recollection of Luke confronting him is different from Luke's account of confronting Kylo which caused him to turn.

Arguably the worst Star Wars since Phantom Menace. I left the theater not knowing if I'll even bother going to see IX.
