...and because I remember better. This Sunday's message. Be Blessed

[SUP]6 [/SUP]and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Mark 6:35-45New King James Version (NKJV)
[SUP]35 [/SUP]When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, “This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late. [SUP]36 [/SUP]Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread;[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]a[/SUP][SUP]][/SUP] for they have nothing to eat.”
[SUP]37 [/SUP]But He answered and said to them, “You give them something to eat.”
And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”
[SUP]38 [/SUP]But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.”
And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.”
[SUP]39 [/SUP]Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass. [SUP]40 [/SUP]So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties. [SUP]41 [/SUP]And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. [SUP]42 [/SUP]So they all ate and were filled. [SUP]43 [/SUP]And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. [SUP]44 [/SUP]Now those who had eaten the loaves were about[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]b[/SUP][SUP]][/SUP] five thousand men.
5 Truths
1. What you have is not enough for you. Just as you always thought?
2. What you have is enough for the multitude
3. IF you bring it to Jesus
4. When you do so, for a while, it will look like not enough
5. BUT the multitude and You will eat plenty….with leftovers.
(Remember the adage… “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day…teach a man to fish and feed him for life.”
Here’s the twist … “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day…teach a man to pray to Jesus and ask how to bless the multitudes and he’ll eat for LIFE.) *and not just his own life.
Question? Who was it that fed the multitude of people?
Tick tock
Tick tock
Tick tock.
It was not Jesus.
Tick tock
Tick tock
If you said the disciples, you are correct.
(“He said, “YOU feed them”.) The disciples fed through the miracle of Jesus. Jesus places it in our hands. You cannot bring Jesus that which you don’t have – only what you do have. Jesus is not interested in what you do After you have been blessed. (He wouldn’t wait for the man to “Bury his father first”. Jesus’ response was “let the dead bury the dead. You come with me.” The summation was based on an inheritance after his ill father died.) Jesus is only interested in what you do with what you have NOW!
Remember there’s seed time and harvest. Time to plant (and time to grow) and time to harvest. (Did you know that the word “and” is more than a conjunction? It’s synonymous with “PATIENCE”. While our seed grows, our patience must grow with it. As it does, we are greatly rewarded. For faith as a mustard seed grows into a tree where birds dwell) Plus the patience. (Seed time…aaannnddd…harvest)
We must go consistently, cheerfully, continually and constantly giving to God.
Then we all eat plenty … with leftovers. Note there were 12 baskets leftover. Was it for the disciples the next day? Probably. That’s food for thought...pun intended. God will not waste anything in your life.

Addendum – The Spiritual Math equations…Two were done for us…the other three were configured using logical equating.
Feed 5000 + - 12 baskets - 5 loaves and 2 fish
Feed 4000 + - 7 baskets - 7 loaves and a few fish
Feed 3000+ - 4 baskets left - 9 loaves and a few more fish
Feed 1000+ - 1 basket left - 11 loaves and a few more fish plus…
Feed you - nothing left

(Kind of like what happens when you spend “$Ouch.00“ at the convenience store…for only enough to feed yourself. If you use self-control and forethought, a meal of chicken, per se, feeds a family of 4 easily. With leftovers!)
