I was reading the sad story of a lady who committed suicide by jumping off of the Empire State Building in the 1940's. The article included a picture of her laying on the caved in roof of a car. She almost looked asleep. She so much going for her, even an upcoming wedding. You could see that she was a beautiful lady, BUT she probably did not see herself that way. Her suicide note reflected self-hatred.
Karen Carpenter, the famous singer and one half of The Carpenters, who died of anorexia, said in an interview that she saw an overweight woman every time she looked in the mirror, even though around the time of her death she weighed around sixty pounds. EVERY TIME SHE LOOKED IN A MIRROR, SHE SAW AND BELIEVED A LIE.
How many of US ALSO look in a mirror and SEE AND BELIEVE LIE?
The Lord God Almighty says:
"IN THIS SEASON, I am setting My People FREE from EVERY LIE that they have EVER BELIEVED about THEMSELVES!
I am setting My Daughters FREE from the LIE that they cannot be LEADERS.
I am setting My People FREE from the LIE that ONE RACE is better than ANOTHER race.
I am setting My People FREE from lies that have followed particular families, passed down from father to son, passed down from mother to daughter. Lies of failure. Lies of inevitable early death. Lies dealt with by My Son on the Cross.
I am setting My People FREE from every lie that man's religion has told you. Every lie that My Son's death was somehow " not enough" to FULLY restore you to Me, "not enough" to make you RIGHTEOUS and CLEAN in My Sight. For you are indeed as RIGHTEOUS, ACCEPTED, AND CHERISHED as Jesus is to Me!
THIS IS A NEW DAY FOR MY PEOPLE. A DAY OF FREEDOM FROM EVERY SINGLE LIE SHE HAS EVER BEEN TOLD. A DAY OF FREEDOM FROM EVERY LIE WHISPERED IN THE DINING ROOM, PROCLAIMED FROM THE PULPIT, WRITTEN IN A TEXTBOOK.
AS I WATCH SATAN SCRAMBLE IN PANIC, I DECLARE FREEDOM OVER MY PEOPLE.
MY SON'S BRIDE SHALL WALK IN THE FULL FREEDOM HE PURCHASED FOR HER. SHE SHALL SHAKE THE WORLD!!!!"
