In the olden days, when I was in college, they gave us the last week of December to the end of January off between semesters. Do most schools still do that?

I'm thinking how much trouble would I have gotten myself into if Al Gore had already invented the Internet by then. We didn't have such a thing, so five weeks off didn't mean I'd spend my time making up names and stories to post on Christian sites to see if I could fool people. (I can see me doing that, if the Internet were around. It wasn't, so I didn't. lol)

Just wondering what the increase of activity is on the advice column for this site -- aka Family Forum. Kind of wondering if half these tragedies aren't just bored college students with nothing better to do.

The good ole days are gone. Most U.S. students, both college and high school, went back to school this past week. :)

yes, Lynn,

college has once again begun it activities as usual - let us hope and pray that the children
who were privileged to come home appreciated what their parents have done or sacrificed
for them and put forth an effort to show them just how thankful they are...
