Word of advice: Write notes down before you hit the Record button. It organizes your thoughts before you present them, and it helps keep track of where you are in the presentation. Time is wasted in this video, which means much time is wasted repeatedly when people try to watch it.

Also you might consider putting the disclaimers at the end. If you must have them at the beginning, at least keep them as short as possible. Try to get to the point of the presentation as soon as possible. The longer it takes to get to the point, the more viewers give up and stop watching before they find out what your point is.

I'm well aware that I don't have camera presence, and that I'm not good in front of the camera (nervous, stammering, collecting thoughts, etc). But that's not the point of the videos, and I don't think it would make any difference if the videos were more 'polished', to the majority of the people who watch them---as the responses to my written posts have demonstrated.

I intentionally do the videos 'raw', because I do not want to put 'my own stuff' into them, which would be more likely to happen if I were to write out what I wanted to say like a written sermon---besides making them unnecessarily long. I prefer to let the Holy Spirit guide me in terms of what to share and how, although I do sometimes jot down main points to keep myself from digressing too much or forgetting important information that should be included.

I think my lack of finesse and camera presence and the fact that the videos are not given in formal presentation shows that they are genuine, and also agrees with the humble nature of the instruments God chooses to work through: Moses stammered. Paul wasn't a trained speaker and his bodily presence was unimpressive. Jesus didn't have any appearance that people would consider to be desirable.

I think my lack of finesse and the unpolished quality of the videos is appropriate. I am just the way I would be if I were speaking to someone in person---no special affect, no gloss. I've no desire to impress anyone with anything besides the truth contained in the messages, if God should grant them to receive it. They shouldn't be focused on me in the first place, and I do not want to encourage them to. If they're interested in the subject matter, they'll stick with the video. If not, they won't.

(I'm not really sure why you yourself are watching these videos at all, or giving me advice on what to do in them---considering your responses to my other posts, written or video. Neither form agrees with you; so why do you keep coming to them? The messages are not going to change.)

As you will.
