Who determines what is truth? There's no thing as "your truth" as some people in media have tried to say. There's simply truth and opinion.

Well it is nature. Something God created. Do trees not matter?
That's twisting his meaning to be argumentative. He asked if it mattered if the tree makes a sound or not, when it falls. How you got "trees don't matter" out of that is beyond me.

Does observation affect outcome? It can't be proven without an observer.

Does truth exist without evidence?

Which truth are we talking about, man's or God's?

Sound is vibrational frequencies that the ear detects and interprets through patterned pressure waves on the ear drums. Those vibrational frequencies surely are present whether anyone is there to detect and interpret them or not. If a deaf person were present, it would be the same. Just because nobody hears it, does not mean the sound waves were not there :)

I would say yes! Truth does exist whether or not there is evidence to prove it

Yes - How about the truth that God is healing you even though the evidence seems contrary? Evidence might come later.

The truth that God is a healer is a fact. And that He does not heal everyone is a fact.
But that truth that He is healing YOU is something that only your spirit can pick up from the Holy Spirit residing in you.

Discerning truth is many times without evidence.

I would say “No”, but we may not have the means to uncover the truth. For instance, the sources of communicable diseases are bacteria and viruses- this is the truth. But for thousands of years, people did not know this- nor was there any evidence that was discernible.

Evidence may be there- but we are unable to know it. There may be intelligent life and human like beings in galaxies far, far away, and tons of evidence. We can’t know the truth about it, yet.

It does produce sound waves, so in that sense it does produce sound. Does sound exist with the generator, or with the receiving ear that interprets those waves?

Does observation affect outcome?
Actually, in the study of subatomic particles, they have found that observation does in fact change how they behave.
