I know my dad does because sometimes he would, because of work stressors, have dreams of like drowning in a car or something horrible happening. I had the same thing last night though I don’t really remember them other than I was freaking out. I take pills so I wasn’t scared just more...stressed?

Does that happen to anyone else?

Well it's very normal to have those because our dreams are influenced by our thoughts and feelings as well. If you stressed out before going to bed or anxious and worried through out the day it can have a very big affect on your dreams. I do not do well with stress so whenever I get stressed out spending time with god has always been the cure for me so stress dreams don't tend to happen to me but I understand the formula of them. Honestly sweetie it's just your mind trying to cope with what your experiencing in life and the cure is well.... for different people the cure can be different for me I just listen to to some Christian music and be on cc or go on a walk and just talk to god for some though it's not that simple and may require other methods.

But remember to have your thoughts on heavenly things because when our hearts eyes are on him we are blind to everything else, if we are focused on what is stressing us out then it never ends well. And honestly I do think becoming closer to God however that may be would benefit you

Yes I did last night...I dreamt my ex partner ( The father of 3 of my daughters ) was in a room with me...He was abusive in my relationship...I dreamt he was looking in my eyes with a scarry look and I said to him " I swear , if you come near me I am going to kill you :(...In my dream I meant it , I would off , so when I woke up I prayed to God in my morning prayer , I would never behave like that LORD , why did I behave like that in my dream , it upset me...

When I had my morning drink drink and woke up , I wondered , how can I be so unchristian in my dream , did I portray my real self, that disturbed me , I hope to find Scripture that that reveals to me that dreams are not real...xox...

I had only few bad nightmares in my life. I use to pray to God when I wake up. That helps me calm down. Sometimes I even prayed for help while I was still sleeping, and then I woke up. Thanks to Jesus. But I do not get the bad nightmares from studying stress, more from personal (emotional, spiritual) problems.

When I am stressed from studying my dreams get more confused. When I wake up I feel confused and feel like I need to "boot up" logical thinking. For example when I prepared for a math test, I dreamed about solving math problems. In the dream I thought I was solving it all correctly. When I woke up I could not exactly remember the calculation, but was shure I did it wrong. That made feel a little insecure for a moment, lol.

May God give you sweet dreams and help you out with the things which cause you stress!

Physician: Dr. I.D. Pressed Prescription:GimmeABreak

Instructions:

Take as needed to maintain your sanity when facing life's catastrophes, including blaring boobtubes, chaotic kids, treasoness teenagers, claustrophobic kitchens, gorged garbage bags, stalled Studebaker's, bungling bureaucrats, frantic finances, egotistical employers, and belligerent bankers.

WARNING: Excessive use may cause you to talk to yourself, but as long as you don't listen, you'll be all right.

Not sure if this counts but, I had two exorcism dreams before the new year dawned with me as the exorcist. The second one absolutely terrified me, but I stood my ground in Psalm 91 !

Well that may not be a stress dream it may be God showing you a calling in spiritual warfare

I don't know, but I feel like He has called me to be a faith based marriage and family therapist.

Well if he has watched a horror movie recently then ya that could influence his dreams. The excorsist was a horrible movie just horrible and it really made it seem like we have little to no power against demons. I mean to have to repeat verses like their some kind of spell and hold a cross like a weapon and yet barely be able to even stand against the thing is just not reality
