Sometimes God does not give us a specific direction because he allows for freedom of choice.

When that happens, I always look for what choice brings about the most peace deep in my spirit.
Since you have already prayed for guidance, trust that inner voice - maybe not the one that makes the most sense, but the one that you feel is right. Knowing that you are making that choice based on faith, not fear. God will always honor the one that is rooted in faith. And will bless that choice.

Our choices never should go beyond the boundaries that scripture sets up for us to follow. But know that God has promised to send you blessings every day. Mercy and goodness will follow you all the days of your life.

When I have done all that you have done - prayed and decided to make a decision on faith - and feel a peace in a particular decision, I stop worrying that it might be the wrong one. Even if it is the wrong choice, God will use it and it will not be wasted.

I find there are usually one of three choices:
1. Choice 1.
2. Choice 2.
3. Make no choice.

But, the third choice really is a choice, because it usually means Choice 1 or Choice 2 is made for you.

If the choice isn't life threatening, and it causes no harm, then just pick which ever one fits your desire. Otherwise, you will regret never having made the choice. And it will feel like you had no choice.

If it is life threatening, make the choice most likely to be less life threatening.

If it will cause harm, make sure the harm is directed to the best outcome. (Sounds like odd advice, however, I have chosen to harm people to protect others from being harmed.)

If it is neither harmful or life threatening, just pick which one you really want.

As for the Lord? I find, often, he gives me no answer until I walk out in it. Often he gave me no answer until I walked out in it. And it was either ministry work or a job. And then, lo and behold, when I made the wrong choice, he fixed it in a hurry. (I found out quickly I wasn't meant to be in this ministry, or job wise, I found out in a hurry the job sucked. GET OUT! lol) Always, always he guided me. BUT you can't be guided if you don't move. If you don't move, all you do is stand still, or get pushed. Sometimes getting pushed means simply that you're pushed out of the way, so someone who is willing to walk forward can.

Hope that helps. (Not sure it does.)

Men cast lots and the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord

Toss a coin and go with it.......

Proverbs 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD
