There is an old song that goes something like "sometimes I think its a sin when it feels like I'm winning when I'm losing again". Secular song and secular artist.

For the cause of Christ
Roger

I realize that doesn't answer the question haha.

Well, you have done both. You've failed at succeeding or you've successfully failed.

Or make that, you've successfully failed at succeeding.

You've failed at successfully failing at succeeding.

Yes. In college I needed a 43 to get a "C" in my statistics class on the final. I had to get a "c" to pass the class. Some strange way that is exactly what I got my 43.... So by failing my final exam with a 43, I succeeded at passing STATISTICS with a "C"!!!! ... I know exactly how many I could get wrong.... It was statistics...lol.... actually just simple math to figure that out... TRUE STORY!!! PROBABLY COULDN'T DO IT AGAIN TO SAVE MY LIFE...LOL

Is it ever possible to strive for failure? What if you fail, you reached your goal, means you succeeded in failing in that case you failed....
When I was a kid, Mom wanted me to clean my room. I did not want to clean my room. So I whined, and asked how to do every little thing, and whined some more, until she gave up, and sent me out to play.

Yes, I succeeded at failing.

If I set out to fail...let's say to show someone how important it was to forgive...I failed over and over and no one ever forgave because ... of whatever the reason, maybe they thought I lied to begin with or was lying when I came to them...or they were just unforgiving people...If I had a purpose to fail...and that purpose then succeeded, did I then fail or succeed? What if, in all that failure, I forgot the mission and just destroyed my spirit and damaged my soul and lost my way in the process? Would anyone at all care or am I on a mission of Hell? Would you forgive me please for reckoning my spiirt? I imagine this is in jest...I guess it's important to someone. Or have I failed to understand?
