Here are the final numbers:
Clinton received 65,844,610 votes, or 48.2% of the total vote.
Trump received 62,979,636 votes, or 46.1% of the total vote. (That's a difference of 2.86 million votes.)

It was the Electoral College that got Trump into the White House, not the U.S. citizens vote.

I think it is time for the Electoral College to me looked at. The general public doesn’t even know what or who they are and yet they decide who will be President regardless of the popular vote.

What do you think?

Your facts are skewed.....

a. DEAD people voted for Hillary
b. When in California all of October I watched the Democratic party register illegal after illegal and most could not even speak English or have a valid drivers license and had to have English speaking people fill out the forms.
c. It is proven that several MILLION illegals with no legal voting rights voted for Hillary

She lost both the popular and electoral vote if the facts are taken into account

Take away Cali & NY, Trump wins popular vote, too. EC was implemented to keep one or two states from swaying elections.

Yes to the question in your poll, but if your referring to the United States presidential election, that position is not selected by popular vote regardless. In that case, the poll is moot.

Shoot, Cali alone was what gave her the popular vote win.

The Electoral College worked exactly like it was designed to. The forefathers created it because they knew it would be dangerous for a president to be elected just on the basis of their popularity.. America was never set up as a pure democracy, it is a republic.

LOL your concept of "current events" have officially made me feel oh-so-up-to-date on the latest news. Just a mere 16 months later, you noticed? I hope you vote like you keep up with the news.

Here's a clue. America is not a Democracy. It's a Republic.

Get back to me in a year or two when you figure out the difference, and what that does to your deduction.

Oh I know....I got so fired up watching them pass white people to target illegals that could not speak a lick of English....I sat in a restaurant eating and watching the DNC register one right after another and in the same time I bet 500 white people walked by and they did not ASK ONE of them if they wanted to register to vote....I was so disgusted and thoroughly peeved off........

Young lady. Your ignorance and indoctrination is showing. The real world is NOTHING like the socialist sewage you have been fed in school and on the news.

1st. The election was in 2016 not 2017.
2nd. Your poll question makes no sense in relation to your post. You ask if the POPULAR vote, not the electoral college vote should be abolished.
3rd. As stated, the voter fraud by democrats cost Trump at least 3 states, maybe more.

You understand why the dems fight tooth and nail against voter id laws right? They KNOW they would never win a national election again.

She stood in awe of Margaret Sanger, who started Planned Parenthood(pffffffffffft!), advocated eugenics, spoke to the wives of KKK member in Las Vegas, targeted the black populace because she was a bigot. And HilLIARly won the black vote.

you don’t seem to understand the US constitution. It was never intended for the people to elect the president. It is a decision by the states . Most of the states voted for Trump end of the story.
Question you don’t think we live in a direct democracy do you ?
Blessings

The US citizens who cast a ballot vote for a group of electors of the party that the candidate runs under. Ultimately, these electors, which comprise the Electoral College cast their vote for president. It the Electoral College were abolished you would have 2 or 3 states with huge populations controlling the entire election process. That's not a good thing. Discounting voter fraud Trump actually won the popular vote too.

If my bank account was full of rubies and I was still a drinking man I'd buy a bottle of vodka.
