What does this mean to you:

Any thoughts?
I have never ever been loved by one person on this whole planet the way Jesus wants us to love, but then I haven't loved anyone the way Jesus wants either.

It must be really hard to enter the narrow gate, but I'll keep trying.

I learned from a teaching Chuck Swindoll gave years ago the Greek word most used for love in the new testament
comes most closely to "seeking the highest good of the other person and doing what is possible to do to meet that need".

I believe that's only possible if you have love in your heart for God to share with the least of your brothers and sisters.
Interesting point - I am reminded of these scriptures:

Gal 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Rom 5:5 "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."

John 15:4-5 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."

John 15:9-10 "Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love."
