I went to a beer festival in Fredericksburg today. I sampled beer from 40 different craft breweries, all based in Virginia. I think my favorite was Dark Night, made by 6 Bears and a Goat brewery.

yep, the adversary sure is crouching at your door by your own invitation....................ha! (tongue in cheek):D
Wine is different, I can see how some have people or groups may have accepted wine and not distilled beverages, and after a life we see those who have exalted and given themselves to distilled drink via shots and competitions of how to defile themselves have paid a heavy price, one I know took his completely healthy and bless body and now has had a crippling stroke, wheel chair bound. Drs. telling him that was the reason, too much worship at the idol of decadence.
What if our 1 on 1 personal relationship with Christ were so strong we could and would not partake until He gives the guidance ? Is that the how the adversary works to entice some to sin with this liberty He gives us through Christ?
Just a deep thought for Monday.
This has been on my mind since I rediscovered the miracle of beer and started the anise liqueur experiments in my laboratory. lol

No, sir! But I have a few friends who do. I go to a little community college. You know someone who goes there?
No, but when I lived in Fayetteville I worked at U of A sometimes.

She's in Arkansas? Then she's talking about Ripple, right? Or maybe Mad Dog 20/20....

"it helps me unwind, and sometimes it makes me feel mellow......" TTHall

JK, of course. I've been known to sip a glass or two of wine.

My current fave is from Italy... Poggio san Pietro, Rossa.... very nice red.

EmilyNats is not a whiner. And, I think she's too young to be a "winer"....

But, since she's very mature for her age, we'll let it slide.

welcome to Backsliders Anonymous, Em.... don't worry, beer is an acquired taste. Some folks never acquire it. My wife is one of those people.

Team beer checking in. Though wine is probably better for me.
