Anything by Madonna. Her voice is subpar at best.

What’s Love Got to Do With It?- Tina Turner specifically the line “What’s love, but a second hand emotion?”

Basically everything on the radio on any popular station.

NPR often being an exception to the rule as they frequently play classical and blues, gospel and bluegrass.

The Shape of You- Ed Sheeran, specifically the objectifying chorus “I’m in love with your body.” Wow, how assuring to a woman- you’re in love with her temporal, transitory self- but not her eternal self? Materialism in the worst sense of the word.

I like Buddy Holly songs BUT Peggy Sue makes me cringe why did he ever record it and worse make a sequel of her getting married.

Close runners up are Barbara Ann by the Beach boys and anything by Neil Sedaka

Of all of Ed Sheeran’s songs, this is my least favorite

And....he made up for (his “shallowness”???) with his song “Perfect tonight”

That song was actually a huge hit for Reo Speedwagon in 1980. "Do you prefer Riding The Storm Out?"

As a matter of fact Ridin' the Storm Out is the
only REO song I like, especially the live version.
