Hello, family

From my experience and the word of God, I've learned that praise is a weapon. It can cause demonic oppression to be broken and it can cause the enemy to flee. That's right, flee. When you praise God, it's almost as if you are sending a signal to heaven. God will acknowledge it and step in. He will step it by showing himself mighty in your situation, by giving you strategic insight, direct you to his word ,etc. Through your praise, it shows God that you trust and love him. So...the next time you are under attack, praise God. And, because you praised God, he will not allow you to be defeated.

Praise Precedes the Blessing!!

12Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.
13Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.

I sing hymns to myself, otherwise some other worldly thing comes into my head a gets me singing it. When I am trying to fall asleep at night, after prayer, those hymns are very handy to empty my head of the cares of the day.

No, people need to know God is sovereign. HE is the one who defeats the enemy. Not our prayers. And our strength comes from him, not from our praise.

Praise reminds us God is still in charge and he is worth to be praised. Not just for what he can do for us. More for who he is.

You're right, but also very wrong. Our prayers and PRAISE can stop the enemy. Do you not believe me? Then read 2 Chronicles 20. Jehoshaphat inquired of the lord (he prayed), and he proclaimed a fast for all of Judah. He did this because he was up against a battle. Fast forward......and now read the 22 verse which reads, "
they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated". Okay, what about Psalms 8:2? it reads, " through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger." Praise can shift our focus to God and cause God to move on our behalf.
So, yes our praise is powerful.

I think what JB2018 was saying that God is sovereign, but by praising Him we are stronger and more confident. God has given us power over Satan and his cohorts, but we must be confident in that power. It says in James (4:7) "resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Satan is already defeated; he is just a tool in the hand of God. As long as we know that: all those demons will run from us.

One day I was under great spiritual attack and I don't know why I said what I said other than the Holy Spirit prompted me but I said "angels of the living God fight for me" and as soon as I said that the attack stopped immediately.

Psalm103:20Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.

Hebrews 1:14 [SUP]14 [/SUP]Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
