As a Canadian, I appreciate your comments... many Americans have so little knowledge of Canada, so being acknowledged at all is a good step.
I intensely disliked Trudeau senior, because he forced legalized abortion in Canada and had absolutely no respect for Western Canadians. Trudeau junior is the same on the second count, wants to force a carbon tax, is far too much of a media hound, and is underhandedly giving Islam "protected status" in Canada. If he gets a second term, I suspect his government will try to institute some aspects of sharia law. He is much too divorced from the people to be anything but a poster boy. Plus, any national leader who sits down for a agreeable discussion with Bill Nye isn't doing his job. There are far too many real problems to deal with in this country to be formally discussing science with a pseudo-scientist TV star.

Canadians are wonderful folks. I did not nor do follow political positions to the point of knowing the platforms of most politicians. I consider that collaborting with Caesar or He4rod, against my faith, but the souls are all salvagable, so no condemnation from my part.
My one uncle moved to Canada after WWII, MARRIED THERE AND FINALY BECAME a Canadian citizen. By the way , he also became Canada's champion trap shooter (skeet?9. hE HAD five sons so I do have Canadian family.....There is no call to disparage Canada at any level fromt he US; the history of being good neighbors was doing just fine until the latest remarks from the White House.
