hi, help interpret my nightmare, if you want to and have time, its quite intense

Hi, I had a pretty terrifying nightmare, and I am trying to make sense of it if you have any input I am more than willing to listen. If you need more context about this dream, more information, let me now. So basically the dream: there is this girl that I am in love with, she game me a hug,i huged her back, then she straddled my hips. I thought that sexual contact comes next, so I said no, I did not feel comfortable having sex with a dream entity, especialy that it creeped me out, and I knew that this is a dream, I even felt from the first hug that this is not really the girl that I like. So after I said no and tried to push her off, I became paralyzed, and I could not move, not even say I sound. she plunged her fingers, now claws, in my ribs and I felt excruciating pain. never in my life, I felt so much pain. Then this entity , or demon at this point, tried to shove her hand down my throat, but I closed my mouth and refused to open it. then it started choking me. I woke up shaking and even know I am a bit shaken by the whole experience.​

The initial sense I get from your dream is you are afraid (for want of a better word) of falling in love with the wrong woman either in general or to a particular woman that you are either dating or have a crush on. Either way it be, whether a woman in general or a specific woman, I think from what you tell of the dream here that you fear that either by being with that woman that you will make a mistake from which one never can recover as one can never make themselves again a virgin, or that if by rejecting her and/or breaking up with her that she will cause you pain and/or make you feel regret.

If this interpretation seems well to you, then my counsel is to take things slow in your romantic life and to continue rather to learn from and seek after the Lord God Most High that he may give you clarity and that he will lead you to the right sort of woman that you can be comfortable with and that both of you will be committed to each other and to God, may the Lord Jesus Christ be praised.

Why go to strangers on the internet whose beliefs you have no clue abiut to interpret a dream?
Nearly all my dreams were bad dreams or nightmares from as young as I can remember until my teens, where I was still having them just with less frequency.
Most dream interpretation has occult roots.
You're better off asking for prayer than thinking anyone here can legitimately interpret and stop your dream.

Actually you would be surprised how effective seeking help from people like us can be, God will use anyone to speak to us even a total stranger. Although tbh I do not understand the dream at all it actually seems more like a spiritual attack than anything else almost as if the entity want him to give into temptation but got aggressive when he refused and stood his ground

Tell that to Joseph who because of his dreams saved Egypt and became pharoh or perhaps tell it also to Joseph who in a dream an angel told him to not be afraid to take Mary to be his wife and that she was blessed with the seed of the holy spirit. Dreams are not merely dreams they are also a language of communication

Well, I am asking ''strangers on the internet'' because everybody has something to say. everybody can, and usually has, a good idea, or even if the idea it's not good, a different perspective, and that will make you think, and maybe open up possibilities that you had no idea about. Like Blain said, you never know who God will use to give you advice or show you the path, you just need to be open about it. I usually ignore my dream, because they are quite stupid (cooking a chair, surfing on a sofa on a wave made of candy, driving a cardboard box on the highway, etc,) but this one, this one terrifies me. I will try to respond to each of your interpretation. The girl is not high maintenance, at all, and she actually thought me quite a few interesting things, showed me a path so to speak, to God, so, It's not her. Its me, not accepting my feelings, beeing afraid of rejection or love, witch is a real possibility, or a demon atack. i cant rule that out tbh, it realy feelt like that. I don't exactly want to stop the dream, I want to make sense of it. Prayer helps, but input will probably help more, and like I said in the post description, nobody is forcing you to try to make sense of it. it's a hard and intense dream, and you think dreams have no meaning, or you see no point in even trying to interpret them, then why are you reading this? Go find a post that will actually use your talents, don't waste your time on things that you don't like or don't want to understand. if you have even more imputs the better

Honestly my friend it really does seem like a demonic attack to me, I am no stranger to these I have been attacked many times in my dreams some of them got to the point where only the name Jesus saved me and even then the demons made me struggle just to be able to speak like my tongue was tied so I couldn't say his name. There are many reasons as to why some people are attacked like this for the most part I have found it is a testing of the heart. I think it is however important to note that you were aware you were dreaming, you also were aware this was not the girl you knew and also the fact you stood your ground and then that is when it got really aggressive.

These things I feel should be given special attention too

Considering the actions due to him refusing to have sex with this demonic creature I would say it was the right choice lol

I don't question that you have dreams that are spiritual, but that can't be used to say someone else's is.

Yes that is true but his shows many similar traits as to some that i have had. I know how dreams work and the science of how the brain and dreaming work and it takes discernment to be able to know the difference between the two but in this particular one I really do think it was an attack

This is obviously not from God, so it needs to be dealt with accordingly. When I fist got saved I had a reoccurring nightmare, however after accepting Christ this thing came back but this time I was equipped to deal with it, since I had Christ in my life, I awoke long enough to say< JESUS please take this awful thing away, He did and it never returned. Call out to him for the deliverance you need, he will in no way turn you down nor refuse to help you. There is no reason to try to figure this out, just reject it, in Jesus name , and the devil will flee from you.

Oddly enough I never even had such dreams until I became a Christian not even a nightmare, but in every single one I was also unharmed either by divine intervention or he gave me the power and authority to fight back

I don't know how are you about it, but me personally, I would rather not have sex with a demonic entity, and I kinda felt from the first moment of the dream that something here is not right
