Hey i was wondering what people gave up for lent this year?

me i gave up facebook then i joined this hahaha

thats horrible isn't it.

i spent wayyy to much time on facebook and it is pretty freeing to be away from it. But then i joined this.. i don't go on here as much as i went on facebook though.

LOL. I was joking the other day that I should have given up my internet connection for Lent. But I do have legitamate need of the internet for college related email, keeping in touch with friends and family, etc. I've given up complaining that is not constructive..you know...like "man, this stinks! I hate it when...blah blah blah." Not so much "Hey, there's a bug in my food, I'm not eating this! They should be more careful!"

One Lent I gave up caffine. THAT was difficult! I've gone soft!

Ok this is just hilarious!!! I also gave up fb for lent & chocolate & chips & now i'm spending time here as well. I'm not catholic, but think lent makes sence... give something up for God once a year, something important to you. perhaps i'll add you as a friend once we are back on! deal??? lol.

I gave up coffee, but I just ended lent today! lol! I couldn't stand it! ha ha! I also broke lent one day when I was helping out at a concert and was going to fall over due to exhaustion! lol

I am not catholic either but i was on facebook one day and my friend sent me an event invitation and it was giving up facebook for lent so i was like ooh i could never do that but then i decided i have never done lent before and i thought i would give it a try



hmmm i thought about giving up to check my facebook but i am not gonna. my birthday wat a week and a half after it started soo i am gonna have a lot of messages when i get back haha... i donno were i will start.. it will be interesting reading them wayyyy later
