I think it’s about time for me to be coming out of the closet.

Some of you might’ve done seen it coming, and hence, this is no surprise to those of y’all.

So, here we go:

I’m a crybaby.

There!

I said it out loud.

I’m an overly sensitive crybaby that’ll most likely take offense if you’re being mean to me...and it don’t take much before I consider you mean, that’s a fact.

I reckon it’s Crybabies Anonymous next for me:p.

How dare you!

I do not cry. EVER! That sticky substance that is crystallizing on the outside of my eyes right now from watching really great performances on X-Factor did not come from tears. No one cries over dumb songs!

I did NOT cry when the Eagles won the Super Bowl! There is no crying in football. I was just checking to see how many tissues were left in the box at that one particular moment, and apparently there weren't enough tissues left. NOT my fault. NOT crying!

I did NOT cry when PennEd and his friends came to our house. You can even ask him. It was an allergic reaction to dust and sitting. (I'm really lousy at standing and crying, so sitting often comes with tears I do NOT shed.)

I do NOT cry on Feb. 28, March 5, March 7, April 19, June 23, Oct. 4, nor Nov. 21, just because they're anniversaries of some really important things that happened over the years.

I really did NOT cry when ET died -- once. And I did not cry when ET went home twice. (I was too busy laughing at hubby crying before I got there.)

The Hallelujah Chorus of Mendal's Messiah does NOT make me cry, (if I do not listen to it), nor does Ode to Joy by Beethoven make me cry. Bridge Over Troubled Water does NOT make me cry, nor does He Ain't Heavy, He's my Brother.

Sooo, what's wrong with you and how dare you?

(And did we really have to leave the closet? The closet is a good place to cry... at least, if I did cry.)

(BTW, I've got rhino skin. Very hard to make me cry by hurting my feelings. But you don't want to be around me if you hurt someone I care about. I also do NOT cry when I'm angry, in the same way I do NOT cry. It's just anger brings tears and fists. lol)

Crybabies Anonymous has helped a lot of people.

And admitting you have a problem is first step.

Well, compared to who I used to be, I'm kind of a crybaby now too.

When I was a child, I wanted to live long enough to be 18. When I got that old, I wanted to reach 21. From there, I wanted to make it to 43, which was the life expectancy of an NDN man at that time. On the way to that age, I got saved, and it didn't matter any more.

Would you prefer to be a model with all that backstabbing, vanity, ego, failure and stress, or be the mom and wife that you are right now?

Pretty models (and "Yes" you qualify) are a dime a dozen. But a godly woman no man can over value.

Maybe I'm a bit slow, what is NDN?

Thank you Mel, for that song.

I had forgotten all about it. I remember hearing it once at my sister's twenty some years ago. Then and now it reminds me of when I was playing indoor miniature golf back when I was a young teen (15 or earlier) in my hometown before I ran away from home. I am pretty sure it was playing over the loudspeakers as I was playing short person golf.

A pleasant memory from childhood.

Thank you.

I don't think you should give up your hope just yet. After things stabilize with the raising of your son (if that is ever possible with children) look into becoming a face model. I have seen your face from your ... (I forget what they are called ... the little picture beside each of your posts ... ) and I think it would be worthwhile for you to look into that.

It won't hurt to check out some agencies even now and see if any are interested.

Good luck.

Yesterday I mentioned that I tried using Starbucks' coffee instead of water for my oatmeal. I tried it again today. It is not bad, but I think I would prefer to drink the coffee cold from the fridge and go back to salt and pepper on my oatmeal.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what easy things can be done with oatmeal in the morning, other than milk, raisins and brown sugar? (The less sugar, the better.)

It occurs to me that adding fruit, dried or fresh, might be worth a try.

Thank you.

Back to your confession that you are a crybaby. I'm sure that you have been to CBA meetings, and by now have a sponsor.

That's all very good, but now it is up to you to avoid anyone you see crying. Just deny the feeling to shed some tears with them. Walk away quickly. Do not watch movies that have sad scenes. Some songs also give rise to strong temptations to weep.

Remember that even one little teardrop can lead to many and then you will be back where you started.
