So i am a child of the 80's and i have to say they era had the best music. Some of it might be corny or stupid by some peoples standards but come on who does not love 80's music. I found this on Youtube and i could not believe i ever forgot about this song even though it is from The Karate Kid Part II.

This song is awesome.

In 1988 I listened to the cassette tape * of The Clark Sisters . Four sisters with powerful voices.

This song was one of my favorite slow-tempo songs Jesus Forevermore :

On the tape there also was a song called Computers rule the World...
Listening to it now...it is kind of endearing :eek: .

* Footnote:

For the chosen ones that where born in the 90's and further...
This here...actually is a cassette tape :

WOW!! this brought back memories and your right I forgot about this song. This was the first slow song I danced to. I am being bombarded with images of stone washed jeans and popped collars and a bandanna on my leg, please make it stop.

Isn't this song great??? When i posted this i had a hard time deciding between this song and Menudo but i figured this was the safer bet. I'm going to post a few more 80's videos when i have some time. Oddly enough, i still have a Member's Only jacket...beat that.

Greetings Peccatus,

I'm an 80's Baby too. I didn't like 80's music too much I preferred the 90's, although I did like the movies of the 80's. There was just something about the movies made in the 80's that was unique.

80's movies are one of a kind. A big portion of my movie collection is movies from the 80's, especially horror and action movies.

I was (and am. tell no one) a fan of Flock of Seagulls. I look back and wonder why. I don't watch movies all that much anymore but I remember Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Big Trouble in Little China, Action Jackson, Streets of Fire, Red Dawn and I could go on but the point is I loved these movies. Now when I try to watch them I wonder what I saw in them.

F.of S. what was I thinking?

I had heard that. As long as they don't remake the classics (Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Sweet Sixteen and St.Elmos Fire), I will be okay.

Hey, come on. Did nobody listen to Janet Jackson and Whiney Houston. Or what about Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, or Robert Palmer? Now THAT was some"Simply Irrisistible" 80's music! I know I'm not the only gal who wore my leg warmers, flourescent plaid, and big curly hair while listening to these guys............am I?
