You noticed a shirt worth 97 coins ..
and you didnt have any at that time so you went to your mom and asked for some coins,
she gave you 50 , ..

you needed more.

you went to your dad and asked for another 50 coins..
now you have 100 coins, you paid 97 coins for the shirt, so you now have 3 coins left :p

remember you still owe your mom 50coins and your dad another 50 coins,

so you gave 1 coin to your mom, and one coin to your dad..
you now owe your mom 49 coins, and ur dad 49 coins :p
and the remaining 1 coin, you kept it to yourself :p

question:

49 coins + 49 coins = 98 coins + 1 coin (the coin you kept) = 99 coins,,,... you thought it was a hundred, now where's the one last coin?
