For any star trek fans.. i have one question... which do you like better,, Captain Picard or Captain Kirk?

just for the record... im leaning more toward Kirk:)

Well, you're comparing apples and oranges. Kirk is better at hand-to-hand combat, but Picard probably is wiser.

Kirk was a womanizer...Picard is a far more, no nonsense Captain.

Kirk was gorgeous in those tights, it showed off his rippling muscles. His show was more about liberal ideas & he gave these speeches all the time about men being self sufficient & not needing a God, they had evolved. Picard had a similar theme but his character was more multidimensional than Kirk. Picard was a smarter show. So, I like Picard better. Basically, the only thing Kirk & the gang had to do was 'find the source of power'. I love the Star Trek 2009 movie right up there with the First Contact movie, they are the two best Star Trek films.
The only thing is I could not stop thinking of 'Sylar' whenever I saw Spock.
What do you think was the best movies.

That's a tough one. Kirk was a swashbuckler and exciting to watch. Picard was an intellectual and I was drawn into the storyline more. Okay, I'm for Picard=-)

Remember the episode when Wesley Crusher accidently stepped on some flowers and those thet were gonna kill him for it.. Picard was all "We cant interfere because of the Prime Directive" So he tried to negotiate..Captain Kirk would have just went down there and whooped some.......well. you know..
