The Lord Jesus Christ was full of grace and kindness, and understanding, not wanting to offend anyone, but willing that all people everywhere would know the Father, of whom he gave witness. But anyone that is offended is offended from the inside out.
I had a friend who was, or is a Muslim, and when I was first learning about Jesus, I was so excited to tell him about Jesus. I had revelations left and right, day and night. And all the while I was learning, as I recall now, some valuable lessons in Charity.
I was not aware that he was restricted against certain foods. Some foods are considered detestable to a Muslim. And so, I told him, I respect that, and that I would not eat those foods around him, so as to not offend him. But now I see a strange thing, and wonder just how many people have really been taught by Jesus, or just assumed they were taught by him, but have no knowledge of him.
It is foolish for a Christian to know a person's religious beliefs and then tempt them outside of their beliefs. Jesus Christ did not begin with natural means, as the people were carnal, but he lead them to a Spiritual truth, from their mind set to a heavenly one. He did not start in the Spiritual things and then become carnal, as they cannot agree. But seeing that the people were not ready for Spiritual things, he spoke to them after their own mind, to reveal a greater truth to the hearers of the Word.
So, if you do anything in offense, or speak any thing concerning Jesus, with offense to ANY MAN WHO BELIEVES ANYTHING, you are out of the Will of God. OUT!
Why would you tempt another man, knowing the character of God, that he does not tempt anyone. And if a man should be tempted, he is of his own will. But if one man tempts another, SIN IS IN HIM!
So, if you truly know Jesus you will know what it means to HAVE MERCY AND NOT SACRIFICE!! Don't be so wicked and cruel. Be merciful, kind, gentle.
AND IF YOU CANNOT SPEAK PEACEABLY TO YOUR NEIGHBOR CLOSE YOUR MOUTH AND KEEP IT CLOSED!
