Niceness isn't good enough to get you into heaven. Only Jesus Christ can get save you. Good deeds and charity donations don't get you into heaven, only faith in Jesus Christ to save you from the wrath of God stored up for unbelievers is good enough. The closer you get to God the more you realize how exceedingly evil even the most trivial things (that is to the carnal mind), are an outright rebellion against God. Those who bear fruit in Jesus Christ will receive the reward of eternal life, but all people who do not receive this salvation through Jesus Christ will perish.
You can't feed enough poor, you can't give enough medical help, you can't provide enough food, nor water, to earn your way into heaven. Only by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ can one TRULY know what life is. The charity of the Lord is not sacrifice, it is mercy.
Indeed, gentleness and kindness, and meekness and longsuffering are manifestations of the Spirit in us, but without the Spirit of God we are not children of God. Thus, everyone who is lead by the Spirit of God, THEY are the children of God. Jesus Christ will teach you a better way. Go to him and he will give you Eternal Life. Amen!!
