When we set out to explain why and how something happens, we must use the evidence, facts and experience available to us if we are to arrive at a logical conclusion. Using available evidence, experience, facts, observation and experimentation, we know that the universe had a beginning and that before that beginning there was no universe and therefore there was nothing. We know this because of the Law of Causality (for every cause there is an effect and for every effect there is a cause). Based on this law, we can use the following logic:

1. The universe exists.
2. The universe had a beginning.
3. Before the beginning of the universe, there was no universe.
4. Since there was no universe, there was nothing.
5. Since the universe does exist, it came from nothing.
6. Nothing comes from nothing by any natural cause.
7. Therefore the cause of the universe is supernatural.
8. Life exists.
9. Life always comes from pre-existing life of the same kind (the Law of Biogenesis).
10. Life cannot come from nonliving matter by any natural cause.
11. Since life does exist, the cause of life is supernatural.

Many people with a naturalistic worldview assume everything can be explained by natural causes. From the beginning, they reject the possibility of a supernatural cause. Because of this they are left with no scientifically valid answers to the question of how the universe could come from nothing, which is impossible by any natural cause of which we are aware. Many answers have been proposed that go beyond the realm of known evidence, experience, facts, observation and experimentation and therefore enter the realm of fiction.

The same logic applies to life. Using available evidence, experience, facts, observation and experimentation, we know that life only comes from pre-existing life of the same kind.

“Spontaneous generation (the emergence of life from nonliving matter) has never been observed. All observations have shown that life comes only from life. This has been observed so consistently it is called the Law of Biogenesis. Evolution conflicts with this scientific law by claiming that life came from nonliving matter through natural processes” [From “In the Beginning” by Walt Brown]

Life never comes from non-living matter by any natural cause of which we are aware.

Now that we have seen proof that God exists, using logic based on known evidence, experience, facts, observation and experimentation, we need to see if He has revealed Himself to us. In the Holy Bible there are hundreds of prophecies given by God who is speaking in the first person. In both Bible and secular history we find that those prophecies have been accurately fulfilled. No other writing on earth comes close to doing this! Only God can accurately reveal the future, ergo, He is the author of the Holy Bible. Within the pages of the Holy Bible He reveals His nature, our nature, His relationship to us, our need for salvation and His plan of salvation for us.

The reason the universe and life cannot come from nothing by any natural cause, but can come from a supernatural cause is because God is the self-existent creator of everything and everyone. He is not subject to His creation. He created it and sustains it. It is a mistake to judge God by human standards and human perspectives. God reveals that He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.

If you are interested in more detailed proof, read, “Evidence that Demands a Verdict” by Josh McDowell.

WITH THE MOON REVOLVING AROUND IT. JUST BEAUTIFUL IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT AND
HOW GOD CREATED IT. STARS EVEYWHERE ,AS WELL AS OTHER PLANETS.

The secret is in Laminin what holds our cells together. Jesus said that I hold you together and he meant it literally

Consider our universe. The sun, which is 93 million miles away from our earth, is so large that 960,000 earths could fit inside it. And that is just a relatively small star. Betelgeuse, which is 427 light years away, is twice the size of the earth’s orbit around the sun. It is so humongous that 262 trillion earths could fit in it.
The largest known star is Canis Majoris. It is so incredibly massive that seven quadrillion earths could fit inside it. Yet the same God who breathes out the stars from his mouth (Psalm 33:6) is the one who cares intimately about us, and seeks to rescue us. As Giglio puts it, the star breather has become the sin bearer. The universe maker is also our redeemer.
God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. This quick look at the vastness of the known universe must humble us, and cause us all to bow down and worship the creator of all things. The heavens certainly declare the glory of God (Psalm 19:1).

While I agree with the premise of this thread, it devolved quickly into 'I spend too much time on the internet and believe whatever sounds cool' territory.

Do you understand the thing about laminin? Do you know what the hubble took a picture of? What is the correlation and what does it mean in regards to our existence and relationship to God?

What conclusion are you drawing based on the repeated cross pattern? Does this suggest that every time we see a cross, it is a message or sign from God?

Please explain your posts, jhspy1. They're really interesting theories, but you've only really posted pictures.

Laminin is a protein that is part of the extracellular matrix in humans and animals. The extracellular matrix (ECM) lies outside of cells and provides support and attachment for cells inside organs (along with many other functions). Laminin has “arms” that associate with other laminin molecules to form sheets and bind to cells. Laminin and other ECM proteins essentially “glue” the cells (such as those lining the stomach and intestines) to a foundation of connective tissue. This keeps the cells in place and allows them to function properly. “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth , visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
He is before all things, and in him all things HOLD TOGETHER. “
Colossians 1:15-17

And the X structure

The theory Behind these is that if we look anywhere we can see signs of our creator.Psalm 19:1-6 states,“The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.”

That was copied and pasted. Cite your sources and put quotes around it, lest you be accused of plagiarism.

From that same site:

"Certainly God can use signs to reveal things, and that is evident from Scripture. In Luke 2:12 an angel tells the shepherds, “This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” However, Jesus also admonishes those that improperly seek signs (Matthew 16:4). In today’s “fast food” society, many people prefer the “drive-thru” when it comes to knowing God’s truths. A sign is much quicker than studying and reasoning from the Scriptures, taking the time to pray, and discussing God’s Word with other believers."

Errr... maybe you copied that from another site. There were 45 results from the first sentence alone. Regardless, those weren't your thoughts.

But I asked if you understand it and your response was a copy/paste from some website.

Are you saying that no, you don't understand it?

The only reason I press the issue is because I see a lot of younger people wanting to tie science and religion together, but they don't yet know how to properly think about things. They have no basis for scientific or religious thought, making their ideas a mere parroting of something they read on the internet or heard on tv.

I ask again, do you understand this? What is the correlation and what does it mean in regards to our existence and relationship to God?
What conclusion are you drawing based on the repeated cross pattern? Does this suggest that every time we see a cross, it is a message or sign from God?

New: Where is the Biblical support for your theories?

Thank you for taking the time to answers these rather than google.

I'll say my point of view...
I believe in God also by this logic. And I believe we have a purpose in God's existence and I also believe God had a purpose on ours.

God has no shape or form... And if God created everything that exists, including time itself, then the concept of God is extrinsecal to the concept of time.
However, God's concept is just theoric, through the science's point of view.
How can you definitely prove something that you can't see, feel, measure, etc.?

Now, on to my point of view...
God exists. For everyone of us. It has many names, according to various religions.
I also believe we are eternal... If our existence has an end... Then how will we know it? We won't exist after the end to know it, right?
If we're not eternal, then our life has no purpose at all.

I believe we can change the title of this thread to "Logic proves God".

I agree with the above post. Logic does "prove" God. Science just provides more evidence, as it studies mostly the physical world and God is not a physical being. It helps us to understand His creation, which can give us some insight into the Creator, but we should never get it confused and think science is studying God directly.

There are theories all over the place regarding just about everything. They're all just theories. God is the only absolute truth which is why it's important to stand firmly in Him, even when exploring other theories and ideas about the physical world and all that He has created.
