See this example of a hard stone. How can you put sand into a hard stone? A stone starts as dust, and is compressed into rock. There are two ways to deal with a hard stone. Either you break it or you grind it to powder. Hmm. This reminds me of something Jesus said:

Matt 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Matt 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Matt 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Matt 21:45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
Matt 21:46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

I see a lot of hard hearts and stiff necks on this site. And the Lord cannot penetrate it for their outright rebellion to him and to his Spirit. So they get harder and harder until they are broken or until they are ground to powder.

Now look at the witness of my Lord.

Exod 32:9 And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
Exod 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
Exod 32:11 And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

And here is the same testimony.

Deut 31:27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the Lord; and how much more after my death?
Deut 31:28 ¶Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.
Deut 31:29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.

Yes, the Lord has nothing to do with hard hearts and stiff necks. NOTHING.

But oh the mercy of the Lord!!! Jesus Christ will forgive you if you humble yourself and seek him in prayer!! Amen!! We cannot leave off mercy!!

May Jesus bless you.
