Please have patience with me.

I have heard this many times, that God doesn't want us to suffer. This is true. However, in this world you will suffer as a follower of Jesus, because he suffered, and because the world hates him. If you don't suffer, then you have no part with him. If you don't take up your cross, then you have no fellowship with him.

The attitude behind, ''God does not want us to suffer.'' concerning suffering for the gospel (not as in sickness or disease), is a very popular attitude. It is the attitude that will be in many people who figure they can take part in the mark of the beast, and still be okay with God, as if he will forgive it.

These type of people have more faith in the cares of this world, than it what the Lord has spoken. Anyone who takes that mark will be handed over to Satan. They will have sealed their loyalty to him. You cannot go back after it.

Anyone who would rather have this world's good, than righteousness, will be cut off. It is as simple as that.

You might say, ''God would never want us to not eat.'' Or, ''God would never want us to not have clothes.'' Or you might say, ''Jesus came to give us life, so I know he would be okay with me doing this, because it will help me live.'' NO!!

Understand this, that friendship with the world is hostility with God. Everyone is going to have to choose. On the one hand, Life. on the other Death. And it will not be behind some veil. Everyone will make a conscious decision as to who they will serve. Even now, people have the opportunity to choose Life, or Death. And many people choose death.

The only way a person will be spared delusion and manipulation, and enticement, and condemnation, is to be hooked up with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to be saved from these days. No other name, no other man, no woman, no organization. JESUS. It is time to return to Jesus, and stop playing church. Time to get back to Jesus, and preach JESUS, and salvation by him. No more time for idleness. No more time for games. The Lord is coming. He will look for a pure bride. He will not have half and half. Either you are in or cast out.

Will you choose Jesus? Or will you choose Death and vanity?

May Jesus bless you.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) Jesus never promised his disciples that things would be easy.

Ramon and I rarely agree, so when we do, it must be important. I TOTALLY agree with Ramon here.

I am very tired of the "Prosperity Gospel" movement. For those who haven't heard of it, it's what you see with most of the televangelists, driving fancy cars and wearing fancy clothes, saying that God has blessed them with financial wealth because they're so good.

I know that God does bless people with financial wealth. But to flaunt that wealth goes against everything Jesus is (not just what he said or did, but what he IS).

I'm not saying that anyone who buys anything nice for themselves is going to hell. I would never presume such a thing, because honestly, it's not up to me who God will save -- he doesn't ask me, ya know.

And there's a difference between, "I'm going to buy a new car instead of an old clunker so that I don't have to worry about it breaking down," and "Ooh, a Beamer!"
