Video Games are good because they are of lower entropy then surrounding matter, but the implications of owning them/playing them can have some down sides. It can be argued that better things to do with your time would be spend being active in the sunlight like biking, hiking, running, walking a dog, playing Frisbee at the park (which I'm happy to say is something I did a couple hours ago). Also vid games can become an obsession that takes time away from responsibilities and things that simply matter more ie: spending time with a family. Plus reading will make you smarter, or you could pray or have a Bible study, or do something for your community instead. Like have a cookout with your neighbors where you can spread the gospel and God's love and forgiveness! Basically video games should be a very small part of our life. Spending too much time playing on electronics instead of making and keeping friends has begun to rob our culture of social interaction. People are becoming hermits and socially inept as a result of technologies that are advertized as getting us closer together, when really it's separating us from experiencing each other in a real way.
