HAVE MERCY!!!

From deep out of me came the words, ''LORD, HAVE MERCY!!!''

I was overcome of sin, and so I was in bondage to sin!!! How could I be so blind!! What is it? Why cannot I NOT be good? Why is it so easy to do evil, but nearly impossible to be good? Is my will my own will then if I cannot control what I do? What is it then that controls me?

Sin controlled me. Sin told me to go here and go there and do this, and do that. Then the Lord opened my eyes, and he showed me my captivity. He showed me my iniquity, and I had a long list. LORD!! HAVE MERCY ON ME, I AM A SINNER!!''

There is nothing more humbling about this. It is like putting on sackcloth and bathing in dust. It is mourning and loathing. LORD I AM NOT WORTHY TO BE CALLED A SON, BUT MAKE ME A SERVANT!! WOW!!

How could the Lord turn ANYONE away who repents? He cannot!! He will not!!!

Oh the boundless mercies of God!!

There is not a sin that a man can name that I am not guilty of. I was a terror, and my tongue was my main weapon. I was skillful with my tongue, which I used to fight anyone who stood up against me. But my tongue was full of the fire of hell, and I had my chance in turning many people away from Jesus.

FORGIVE ME LORD!! FORGIVE ME! MAKE ME NEW!! I HAVE SINNED AGAINST YOU!!!

BUT THE LORD IS MY STRONG TOWER!! HE IS MY REDEEMER!! HE HAD MERCY ON THE WORST OF SINNERS!!

Let anyone who names the name of Christ to depart from iniquity. Let them show MERCY!! Jesus said, ''I WILL HAVE MERCY, NOT SACRIFICE!!

If you do not show mercy to your neighbor, do not believe that the Lord will show you mercy. REPENT & BE BAPTIZED FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS!!

Now this is amazing. I was just browsing the forums and I saw a person with this scripture as their favorite verse!!! This is just amazing!
