A blessing to Someone

Have you blessed someone lately in your speech, at your work place, at your home & in whatever you have done? Do you realise that God wants us to live this kind of life..., to be a blessing to others? You will find that as you look back upon your life that the moments that stand out are the moments you have done things for others. Love you!

Every day, when I pray, I ask God to, "Let me be a blessing to someone today, so that I may reflect Your love and goodness. Give me the opportunity to do good for someone today, and show me how to accomplish Your tasks on earth." I loved your message.

Amen to that, help me to do the same thing Lord.

Without quoting a bible verse..
If we ask for a blessing we are aware of a brother or sister.
This unites us as Christians or followers of our Lord in his temple.

No earthly temple needed, but Jesus Christ!
No earthly kingdom expected, but a heavenly new Jjerusalem .

No alleged exclusive people selected, but those who believe in the absolute NEED
of atonement of Jesus who is one with the Father through all our visible things are made.
The Father who gave himself in the flesh through his Son Jesus Christ who is One with him and the Holy Spirit!

When you said "blessed someone in your speech" I thought of something wonderful about my wife I would like to share it with everyone.

Without fail, she blesses whoever she talks to. She looks them straight in the eye and gives them all the love she can for as long as they want it. There are so many needs out there. But every meet-up we have during the day is our God-given chance for us to meet that need with the love of God in us. Even telemarketers she blesses. She is so kind to them, and polite, and with the treatment they must get, they sure soon realise there is something different here and it can lead to some great conversations, and sometimes a chance to tell them about the reason behind our love, and the saving power of Jesus.

I am catching up with what I have learnt from my wife in this and bring this grace with me to my work.

Amen & Amen to that Steve4U, your response is so encouraging! Good to know that your wife blesses others in her day to day activities. You know Jesus loved us so much that He wants us to do the same unto others. John 15:9 Jesus says that "As the Father has loved me, so have i loved you. Now remain in my love". If Jesus washed His Disciples' feet, He wants us to do the same unto others. Everytime I am with people or someone, i feel like i should be a blessing to them even though it's about something small or big as long as it puts a smile on their faces. Let's keep in the love of Jesus as we love one another & spread the love to everyone so that they can percieve Christ in us.

People should be able to see the work of Christ IN us. We don't need to wear our righteousness in robes or tote it around in books. The righteousness of God is in those who obey Jesus Christ, maintaining the fruit of the Spirit.

Sometimes I wonder though, ''Lord, is it enough?'' Is love enough to win people to Christ? Surely, I love all people and would see them be saved, but is love enough? YES!!! IT IS!!

But this love of Christ was not in word, but in deed and in truth!!! AMEN!! Jesus loved us right? Even when we didn't love him, right? And he died for us. Hmm. What greater love does one have than that he should lay down his life for his friends?

May Jesus bless us all with the love rooted deep in Christ, to become in his image. So the Lord God can say, these are my children, in whom I am well pleased!! Amen
