Mankind is made up of what I'll call cells(us) These cells make up a body(church) and are very important to the body. They have their own knowledge and capabilities. This body is governed and controlled by a head(Jesus Christ). Within this head is a brain (Father/intelligence) All of this would not be any good without the life within it. (Holy Spirit) This makes up the Trinity. It also shows how God is 3 in 1 and still all and in all. He is one. What would our bodies be without our head, brain and life? It would be dead. It is in this way that man was created in the image of God. For God has created us as an example of how he is.
God is all life and the firstborn of every creature (Colossians 1:15) Think of God as even greater than a main computer that has all the knowledge, information and intelligence of this planet. For God is the whole universe.
God does not need us. He could create or recreate at will. He loves us so much that he gives us the opportunity to grow and expand heaven. All we have to do is love, trust and obey him. Know and keep his words and his commandments. God bless you

There are some that ask why Jesus had to pray to the Father if he was God in the flesh? Jesus was born of woman and had his own identity but was pure and without sin. God needed a body in which to fully reside. In purity and truth is how we become close to God. God chose his son to be pure and without sin making him as close as the head is to the brain. This makes up the Trinity of brain/head and life (breath/soul)So even though Jesus had to be tempted by Satan to insure that the world hadn't touched him he remained pure and without sin and closer to God than any other. He is 3 in 1 but still only one God. God gave us a face by which to see him.

Hi Huldah,

Jesus prayed to the Father to set an example for us how we ought to pray to the Father.

Jesus is the Son of God. God, the Son.

i am a Son of God. See the diff? :)

God is a Spirit which He became flesh (Jesus Christ) The visible of the invisible God.

1 John 4:8 (KJV)
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

And my favourite,

Psalm 147:4
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Peace. :)

God is not the whole universe. The universe is a created thing. God exists beyond the consistency of existence that creation exists of. That's because God is an infinite step above and beyond matter and spiritual matter if you will. Yes God is spirit, as are angels and as are we, if only in a component. God is someone that cannot be understood or described the way the universe can be because we don't know Him that well. The Bible says no man has seen Him (the Father that is). To say that God is the whole universe is to severely undercut God's majesty. He is beyond existence as we understand it. He is someone who is beyond being something, or someone as we understand them.

By saying that God is the whole universe is saying that God is ALL that there is. There is nothing BEYOND God. For he is all things and all things were created by him and for him. God is the firstborn of every creature (Colossians 1:15) To look into the eyes of a living being is to look into the face of God. The Father is revealed by Jesus to those whom he chooses. But no. No person has looked into an actual face of the Father. God bless you

John 14:7 --If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. Ephesians 4:5 --One Lord, one faith, one baptism. Ephesians 4:6-- One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all and in you all. John 14:9-- Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long a time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Phillip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and sayest thou then, shew us the Father? John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself: but the father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.God bless you

That our bodies would be dead without head (Jesus), brain (Father) and life within (Holy Spirit) is the point that God's trying to get across. Only through that face (Jesus) will we see God and recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit. (eternal life with Him) God gives life even to evil people. He gives the gift of eternal life in heaven to those who know and accept the truth. There aren't two gifts of the Holy Spirit. Only one. God bless you

Since Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are ONE. Then maybe Jesus did pray to the Father as an example for us on how to communicate with God. Maybe he was tempted/tested by Satan as an example of how to overcome the wiles of the devil---By the word of God. Satan IS a TOOL of God's or wouldn't he have been done away with him a long time ago? Isn't mankind enough to tempt each other to sin? Isn't God all powerful---of course. Then WHY is Satan still here? I believe that God could do away with him very easily and without a final battle. Are there reasons other than to play to mans foolishness? Anyone have any ideas? God bless you

Maybe the trinity isn't how we should view God. Jesus was God. Maybe everything he did was to set an example of how we should be in connection to Him. Maybe when Jesus prayed--all he had to do was think to himself(Father/brain). Maybe he allowed Satan to tempt him because it was Satan who didn't believe he was God. Satan isn't privy to what God is or isn't doing or his plans. He only knew that one was coming to be God in the flesh. Maybe God led Satan on a merry chase and beat him at his own game. What did Satan lose in that exchange and why would God take forty days to nail him? I keep praying for clarity on why forty days? ALL pray for clarity.

In other places I wrote and asked people to refute me when you read something false. I warned of false prophets. Three-fourths of what I wrote about why Jesus had to pray to the Father isn't quite right. What's wrong with it? Not ONE has refuted what they should.

Declare God's sovereignty!! Jesus Christ IS God!! There can be none above him--not Father nor Holy Spirit. Nothing is above God. In him is where UNITY is. He IS the father, son and holy spirit. There is no need to use the term TRINITY now that ALL know the truth. The term trinity is misleading too many people into believing that there is one above GOD. Use his name. The spirit of antichrist works against his SOVEREIGNTY!!!!

Have you ever prayed in the name of 'the Lord' God of Israel. Then you would understand the sorrowful joy of reading through the bible, as you read all the times God was displeased with his children, and just kept looking forward. Jesus put prophets in their graves. Their is only one prophet who is Christ, Lord of Hosts. Esaias was John, author and cultivator of his father Zacharias' transcribed Gospel, and the following of the spirit of Hosts, just like they do today..

John 7

1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee:

11 But he that is agreatest among you shall be your bservant.
12 And whosoever shall aexalt himself shall be babased; and he that shall chumble himself shall be exalted.
13 ¶But woe unto you, ascribes and bPharisees, chypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men:

35 That upon you may come all the righteous ablood shed upon the earth, from the blood of brighteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the ctemple and the altar.

for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
2 Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.
3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judæa, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.

We have a mind. We can think, God had that first... We have a mouth we can speak,.. God spoke us into existence.... We, can decide and make decisions, eternal decisions that can last forever, and then act upon them... Gd did the same when He decided to create us!!! Its nt all physical, tho Jesus tok the form of a man, that was God's decision also!! Pz forgive my screwy keyboard!!!

COLOSSIANS 1:15--18---Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16--For by Him were all things CREATED, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: 17--And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. 18--And He is the head (Jesus) of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead (Jesus); that in all things he might have the preeminence. This states the clearest that the Father is Jesus Christ
Jesus (God) Bless you
