Let's get this server bill paid!

Hey Guys, I just wanted to express something thats been on my heart today. A lot of us that I see in the chat rooms, or even on the threads are in here and using this site every day.
Most of us click the "webcam/let me hear voices" button every day and look at the Pledgie form every day, sometimes multiple times a day. (i am guilty of this myself as I hadn't ever given anything until today)
I am sure a lot of you are already giving but for the ones that aren't, I just wanted to bring it to your attention and encourage you because I think its really sad that the past month i've been in CC, i've seen 2 OVERDUE server bills.

If everyone gave a LITTLE, then it would make a BIG impact.
I just think if we all give up 1-2 iced coffees or 1 scratch ticket a month, we could get the server bills paid ON TIME.

Save your change and use that to give to CC... if everyone does it, it wouldn't be so bad!
I really appreciate this site, i've been here a bout a month, and being sick lately it has literally kept my sanity... so I just think we should show our appreciation by helping out and keeping the bills paid on time.

only 100 dollars left------- 10 of us giving 10 dollars or 20 of us giving 5 dollars would get it done, I think we could even get it all paid off tonight! Pray about it and if you think you use this sight and appreciate it, make it a priority.

Oh my goodness. I am so glad someone else started this thread 'cos I feel like I have said this over and over repeatedly til I'm blue in the face.

Ryguy I 100% agree with you. I find it annoying, and well (let me be honest here) somewhat hypocritical that people come here everyday and expect to just engage in FREE fun and fellowship like it's their God-given right. Nothing irks me more! The admin on this site put in SO MUCH effort to make CC the fun, clean, wholesome place we all enjoy... and so many people just take that for granted. The moment, there's the slightest request for donations, or the mention of a membership fee, people get all fired up and some even threaten to leave.

Honestly, I've been to other Christian sites on the internet, and you will struggle to find any that match this (and some of those even charge a fee)!

To keep this site operating the way it is, clean, fun, and well maintained with moderators and admin who listen to us and try to meet our requests and needs, well... that in itself is one thing... but to do all that , and keep it FREE... is INCREDIBLE!!!

You are right Ryguy86. It would not take a lot at all. RoboOp has already put the request out for 40 regular commited donators... and of THE THOUSANDS of regular users... we couldnt even get 40 who would commit to donate on a monthly basis!

I think about it like this. How many people out there willingly spend $5 at McDonalds each week, or regularly go to movies or buy tickets to sporting event, or hire DVDS from the video store, yet still say...'I can't give to ChristianChat, I just don't have the money'?

Thought provoking huh? It seems to me so many people have their hearts here, but their treasure elsewhere...

Come on guys let's get together and get this bill paid ON TIME EVERY TIME. If we want to keep christianchat.com alive, this is what we have to do!

I know this site has done wonderful things for many people, and it is a ministry in it's own right. Many people have made great friendships here and if we want to continue to engage in that fellowship, then we need to think about helping out.

Even if you can only contribute a few dollars, that's okay... every little bit counts. But please help out!
