So not that anyone cares too much, and I'm not being all down in the dumps, just letting people know I'm going to be deleting my CC account within the next few days, unless something spectacular happens.

Reasons beinggg... hmm welllll... I got CC because where I live there are very few Christians and my friends don't have faith so I thought I could come on here and meet some nice Christians. I suppose I have met a few but that has been overshadowed by people who I get to know and like a lot who then turn weird on me, and by a sort of inexplicable pervasive FEELING that I can't explain... it's like.. a vague, half devoted-half of the world, not particularly friendly Christianity. Again it's just one of those over-riding feelings about the place that can't be but into words. And also, by the sickening levels of ignorance and hate towards Catholics (like myself) from so-called Christians. I beg people on here to research Catholics and what they believe. We are Christians, the original Christians!

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has been cool since I joined this site and maybe I'll stay in contact with some of you. For now... well I'm gonna' go spend my time with real people... with real-life friends, not ones I form in my head from what they type to me and who may be heathens, but at least they aren't hypocrites. :)

Bye and God bless.

;)

Hi, Rodog, I don't know you very well, but I looked through your posts, and you seem like a nice guy who has really been transformed by Jesus. I'm not Catholiic, personally, but you're my brother in Christ! I love ya......Sorry about the hostility you've been experiencing :(.

I know what you mean, I'd generally rather talk to a "heathen" (my apologies for the word, I mean it with affection :)), than a hypocritical Christian any day of the week.

Anyway, sorry you're leaving. Keep tellin' your "real-life" buds about Jesus and His love! :) -Nichole

Well dude, it's your decision for sure, but i mean i was born jewish and hold to a lot of the jewish standards. I can say there are some people on here, especially in this forum, who have a lot to say about jews/judiasm that i s a little less then flattering. So i can definately understand where you are coming from. at the same time though i would encourage you to look at it as as a way to talk about what you believe with people.

Some people do see catholics in a negative light, but don't you think as a christian called to lead by example, it would make more sense to stay and disprove all the negativty you see towards catholics?

Just a thought broski!!

Yeah, weird to meet when you're leaving, lol :p. It always frustrates me when the nice people get fed up and leave, because that's one fewer true ambassador for Christ here on the site. Please don't go, if it's not too late to reconsider :(. But, regardless, God bless to you, too. :)

To Mr. Andrew: Sorry about what you're experiencing, as well. Anti-semitic comments bother me a LOT. Please report them using the 'rap' button on the top right corner of the post; the moderators may not be aware of them.

And, as a side note, I would love to hear how you were drawn to Jesus, coming from a Jewish background :).

Thanks for the suggestion! I am bothered quite a bit by the anti-semitic nature of some people as well. If you read andything by the user "ada" i am sure you will understand where i am coming from.

I don't feel reporting the user is right though. This is a public forum, and i do believe everyone voice should be heard, no matter what they have to say. It's good test of forgiveness. I just pray that their eyes are opened at some point to the ignorence they walk in.

Judiasm to Christianity i have found is not a big leap at all. Being a messianic jew has opened a lot of door for me to learn more about judisim, as welll as obtaining a more well rounded understanding of what true christianity is, and in some instances should be.

Let your light shine before men. If we let our voice be cut off by people how will those who want to learn hear the truth.

Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Eph 6:13

I pray you do not leave but give the gift that God has given you to help build up others.

I know the posts you are referring to. Perhaps you aren't comfortable reporting them, but I am. A lot of seekers come to this site, and I don't want them to think that all Christians agree with nasty vitriol that doesn't reflect the mind of Christ. Sure, we can forgive them, but that doesn't mean we have to give them a podium. Anyway, that's my take on it :).

I agree that Judaism to Christianity isn't a big leap; it makes me wonder why there aren't more stories like yours. It's good to have you in the family! -Nichole

I don't know you all that much (what I do know is from this thread), but it's nice to hear that you're staying for a bit longer. The Bible Discussion Forum, well... Blech. Not too fun in there. Hope the rest of your time here is better than it has been.
