I don't write this just for myself, but mainly to encourage others.

In good times and bad alike, we've got to praise God. Why? Not because God is causing our bad times, and not for the bad times we're having, but because He deserves it. We may not feel like praising God at the time, but our born again spirit is always up for it. Once we start praising God, we'll feel like praising Him. Our mind will then start to focus on Him, and Romans 8:6 says that to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

I'm not feeling so hot right now, I must admit. But even though I don't feel like it, I know that God is there. Even though I don't feel like praising God, I will.

Father, you are the best Father I've ever had, and I will ever have. Thank you, God, for being who you are, and what you have done for me in my life. Thank you for sending your Son to take my place on that cross. I love you, God, and thank you for loving me more than I could possibly love you.

In times of distress, we ought to prevail, and not let our emotions rule. Romans 8:6 also says to be carnally minded is death. Darn it, I'm gonna prevail.

If any of you are down, or feeling sad, please, brothers and sisters, join me, and lift up His mighty name and bless Him. We will prevail because we've got God! If God is for us, who can be against us?

Praise you God!

I need to give a shout out to Timofree; the Lord spoke through him to me concerning this matter.

Amen, Mr. Kyouken! :) Jesus never said this life would be easy (actually, He said the exact opposite), but He did promise that He would never leave us, nor forsake us. God inhabits the praise of His people.........if we aren't feeling His presence, it's often because we aren't seeking it enough. God bless! :)

You show a great deal of insight for a person so young. God is worthy of praise regardless of our personal circumstances at any given time.

God bless you.

The only credit I can give is to He who taught me what I know. God bless you as well, dmdave17.
