I do believe fitness to be biblical. God gave israel laws concerning diet to keep them fit and in good health. The bible speaks a lot about gluttony, the over indulgance of food and drink. It is sin. Over doing alcohol destroys the body and food clogs arteries and over works our organs. It has shortened the life spans of people for generations. Whether skinny or over weight we all share this fault. Moses was 120 years old and still climbing mountains. If I wieghed 600 pounds, how can I tell someone about dicipline or self control or many other biblical principles. But jesus freed us from the law right? Eating a catfish will not send us to hell but is forbiden by dietary law. Why? They clean death and decay out of the waters. Do you want death and decay in your body. The heathiest person on earth is not perfect but we should strive to eat and live as jesus did. I'm for sure not as fit in my 30's as moses was in his 100's. If we want to learn fitness we should learn from the bible. Take a jesus diet.

I'm up for it.

(Even some what-you-might-think oldies are up for it.)

( I was running or swimming 3 times a week until July, right now I'm getting back. We won't be mainstream, but we'll be interested what you post.)
