Don't you all realize that American football is an abomination? It is a game involving the touching of an unclean thing (pigskin). Speaking of it so casually on a Christian Chat board ... you all should be ashamed of yourselves!!! The next thing you know, y'all will be saying gays can get married.

No, I don't think homosexuals should marry, but I do enjoy a good football game. Maybe they should make footballs out of something else.

While I'm sure (or at least seriously hoping) that was a joke, I still feel the need to point out that footballs have not been made out of pig skin for centuries. Nowadays they're made out of leather and/or rubber (or nerf for the injuryphobes).

And yes, I know that footballs these days are made of various types of plastics rather than pigskin, though I could continue in my satire and say that gays are no longer temple prostitutes, as they once were, and the analogy still holds.

Still, satire only goes so far. Eventually you have to return to reality.

Fried pig skins are delicious....and I'm glad the Giants won because I don't like the Patriot's coach. He cut one of their players on the eve of the superbowl because he thought bringing in a new player would help them win. How heartless!
