2Ti 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; (17) so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
2Ti 4:1-4 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: (2) preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. (3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, (4) and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.
I have yet to be "instructed" or "taught" by you; no offense.

I didn't come out and accuse anyone in the church of sinning, but being lazy and doing nothing.
And the response I got? "Who are you to judge."
I also pointed out, those Christians will be held accountable. The bottom line to their
arguement is: "They just don't want to hear it."
"Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless..." -Philipians 2:14-15

I don't recall implying nor inferring you were "judging" anyone. My initial post pointed out your "blanket condemnation". And the second response of mine you quoted, that was not directed towards you. I apologize for the confusion.

Yes, people DON'T want to hear it. This is not news!

"The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil." -John 6:7

Furthermore, your approach is one of reproach. People do not appreciate this.

Don't you mean USA, home of the Obamanation? :D
lol. Comic relief, ahoy!

The USA is the only country in the history of the world, that was so focused on God
of the Bible, and had the freedom to act and be dedicated to God, and had the
finances to carry out His work, but in the past 40 years, done so little.

Okay, time to brush up on history. The US was NOT founded on Christianity and has never been a Christian nation. While some of our founding fathers did share religious beliefs, this country was never "focused on God and the Bible." In fact the founding fathers were very adamant on not letting that happen, not because they disagreed with Christian morals or its theology, but because they had just come from a country that had not allowed them religious freedom and they wanted everyone to be free to practice the religion of their choosing. They did encourage trying to live a godly life because there are some valuable morals to be found in it, but in the end they did not want the US to be a Christian nation or founded on Christianity.

"Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between Church and State ..." -Jefferson 1802

The whole belief that we started as this once godly nation then fell into secular ruin is nothing more than a myth. The US has always been founded on the right to "Liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness," whereas Christianity encourages you to give up those three things for the sake of God's kingdom.

I was just about to say something similar to this.

Please provide the link to where I said the USA was founded on Christianity and that the

veiw afterwards, is null and void.

It has nothing to do with any reform. It boils down to Christians in the USA, making their own pleasures and self-seeking lifestyle, take priority over following and working for the Lord Jesus.
It boils down to Christians in persecuted countries praying 2 to 4 hours a day, while in the USA,
its mostly 15 minutes at best. And the lack of prayer is the same as trying to take a long trip
with only a 1/4 tank of gas. A lack of praying equates to a lack of works also. A lack of works
equates to a lack of spiritual strength. From there it all crumbles. Here is the lack of work
equates to lack of spiritual strength:
It does have to do with the Protestant Reformation because that was the "Falling Away" which St Paul was talking about in second Thessalonians. 2Th_2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

That word "Falling Away" means an "Apostasy". According to the Strongs Concordance:

ἀποστασία
apostasia
ap-os-tas-ee'-ah
Feminine of the same as G647; defection from truth (properly the state), (“apostasy”): - falling away, forsake.

It was a great apostasy from True and Traditional Christianity when the Reformers went away from the Original Church Tradition, they completely and totally rejected the Traditional Forms of Christianity which are pious and God inspired. They instead rebelled and started to make Christianity in their own image, the image of man, rather than in the image of God. They thus started to create new 'churches' which grew up like poisonous mushrooms, teaching and re-creating Holy Christian Tradition. And now, it has gotten so bad that people do not even know the true Christian Teaching anymore and the true Christian form of worship... They have even eradicated the Holy Sacraments of the Church which were established by Christ Himself, both Holy Communion and Holy Baptism, and all of the rest of the 7 Sacraments.

A dedicated disciple of Jesus would not have gone out of his/her way to justify the gratification
of the flesh, as so evident in this thread. It only adds more weight to the truth I stated.
Most of the saved people in the USA, are living according to the flesh, rather then the spirit.
This is why the country has gone down hill for the past forty years. A whole generation has
grown up in the church thinking this type of service is spiritual, but it isn't. I've shown how
dedicated Christians conduct themselves in China. You simply can not achieve this by living under
the flesh. Yet, of al the evidence I provided, there has been no one willing to step up.
The flesh will not allow that to happen.

Luk 9:62 But Jesus said to him, "No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

Wait, got to check my cell phone. Ok, ok, let me check my e-mail real fast. Once second, need
to check messege on facebook. Ok, I'm ready to plow now....no wait, its time for my favorite
show. Ok, show's over. Wait, let me see what's coming on next and scroll through the channel
guide to see what's coming on later. Ok, time to plow....oh wait, let me check my e-mail again.
We still got lots of daylight left. I have time to play on xbox a few. Well, time to plow, wait,
some one may have sent me e-mail. Let me check it real fast. Ok,....hmmm, wonder if anything
new is posted on facebook? Ok, NOW I'm ready to plow. Ummm...sure gets dark early these
days. No problem, I'll double up on the plowing tomorrow. Or someone else will get it.
(Sure)

1001 reasons not to step up.

I'm not saying it ever was. I think you missed the entire point of the post because I stressed quite the opposite. I felt the need to bring it up after you posted that the US used to be "focused on God and the Bible." I merely pulled that up to prove that was never the case and that you need to stop coming at this from the approach that pretty much acts like we were founded on Christianity. We are and always have been a secular nation and you really can't expect it to be otherwise.

And if you need evidence to further back up that the US never was a Christian nation I am more than able to provide it.

Yes because that's clearly how the typical American works. Too consumed in technology that they absolutely must spend every second of every day with it, ignoring natural needs like eating, using the bathroom, and rehydrating. Eventually they die out from malnutrition, their bloated corpses sinking in a pile of their own excrement and the rest of the world wonders how natural selection hasn't removed them from the gene pool yet since they probably don't even make time to reproduce either (though who would want to is another question entirely).

Or maybe this POV is horrifically (though also hilariously) blown out of proportion and a little reality is in order here. I mean just think of all the actual non believers you could have been preaching to in the time it took you to write this and argue with everyone who disagrees with you?

Misread what you wrote but again I'm still able to happily provide your answer: "The USA is the only country in the history of the world, that was so focused on God of the Bible..." Which I quoted directly in my original response, feel free to scroll and verify that. This stance pretty much labors under the delusion that the US is a Christian nation. In order for the entire US to focused on God and the Bible that pretty much implies that we were founded under Christianity and that we are a Christian Nation. Everything stated after was also not my point of view, as you labeled it, but Jefferson's, whom I also quoted, as well as the rest of our founding fathers who stated that the US was built on the focus of "Freedom, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." Those three things have always been the focus of the US, not Christianity, God, or the Bible.

My last post in this thread, for anyone who has ears to hear. It was the purpose of this thread
and backed up with numerous information, to show that Christians in the USA are wasting time.
Many of you didn't agree with what I said, but if you knew the word of God, you would have
agreed. Now here is the scripture that says, 'stop wasting your time and get busy."

Rom 13:11-14 Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep;
for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. (12) The night is almost gone, and the
day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. (13)
let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity
and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. (14) But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no
provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
