I wanted to start a conversation on something that has been bothering me for a long time. I think that schools of today still have no idea what to do about bullying and what the effects are on the person who is being bullied. I find so annoying that the schools dont respond to the situation until after something has happened to the person who is being bullied. Why cant schools cant take situations like that as a lesson and take necessary precautions to prevent more tragic situations.

Fully agree, we have the same problem here. In theory bullying can be reported to the police here, but I don't think it ever happens, and if it does, I doubt anything is done...

I wish I could meet my bullies again and ask them if they are proud of what they did as kids (though perhaps they are even worse now, who knows).

when i grow up we had such thing here too and i faced it personally ...i was bullyed by the guys few ages older then me and it happent till tean years ... once my mother came to the teacher and told her about how one of the boys acting bad towards me .. instead of talking to the guy and telling him to quit doing it , she put me down in the front of him and so on ... and yes , what happent in the childhood years can have influence in the future life for sure ....

I never really had a problem with bullies. I had one person try to bully me when I was in 6th grade, but I really wasn't having none of it. The first day he started trying to bull me we got into a fight in class. After the teacher told me to stop hitting him he got up n left out of class. He never bullied anyone else. I stuck up for a few other kids that was getting bullied.

There is this kid that was in my class this year and he told the class that he has been being bullied since 5th grade and the school finally did something to stop it his 11th grade year.

I read on a stalker hotline that most bullies become stalkers. Cant recall where that was or id post it.
I hate bulliy ways and stalker ways. Both are the same. cowardice.
