I've played Magic for 19 years and it never led me down any dark paths or into any evil religions. Its simply a card game, a rather strategic car game, but still jst game. I do find it funny though when people whine about it, even though its been like the main thing keeping hasbro in business the past few years. So now its a game and good for the economy.

we wouldnt want to do anything against the economy right? Hasbro is a very small company compared to all the companies
in the USa. We have more to worry about than hasbro. Maybe we should think about what the invasion of illegals coming
into this country means for the AMERICAN working people and the economy. Maybe we should think about all the millions
we AMERICANs spend to bail out companies? Is this a whine? Shirley wasnt whining. She was stating her opinion. Shes an
american and has that right...FOR NOW.

saying playing card games is practising dark magic is like saying playing a video games like call of duty makes you a soldier it doesnt

also cant you say the internet is satanic the ability to communicate with anyone in the world no matter how far away they are or see someone clear as day who lives thousands of miles away from you. sounds abit like magic to me how show the interent in the old days they will think its magic

No one said the internet is satanic...I dont think internet is satanic. I believe internet is God-given gift that
people will use to their own advantage, for good or for evil. The choice is ours and very often people
chose to use a gift for EVIL

i know now one said it was but i was using it as an example if they say these cards are why not the internet because the internet can seem like magic is what i was saying

now on to the internet being a god given gift why do you think that. from my view and what people told me on here to be in gods plan and to receive his gifts etc you have to be a true believer anyone who is not a believer is not influenced by god in any way (this is what i was told) now the creator of the world wide web Tim Berners-Lee is a Unitarian Universalism not a christian so how is it a gift from god ?

No it is not witchcraft, witchcraft is practicing magic.

besides, despite being named magic, it has very little to do with this, you just put up cards with given properties, and win/ loose like in any strategy game

Not harry potter card games but two separate things. Harry Potter and then Magic: The Gathering.

And I mean there really is nothing in the game that goes against religion. Let's see the current story...Uh a man was forced to become a vampire by his grandfather and his kind now attack the humans where he lives, so he makes an avatar of hope to protect them from them. Thats it in a nuthell...real satanic there, I mean it's like I dont know, half of most horror movie plots or something similar.

Hasbro is actually a multinational compay and contains some of the largest toy manufacturers such as tonka, playskool, milton bradley, parker brothers, wizards of the coast. As well as some of the biggest toy properties such as My Little Pony, Transformers, and GI Joe.

No one said Shirley was whining. You made that up yourself.
Oh the invasion of the illegals...yes such a big problem, because they are clearly taking all the jobs people actually want to work in. I remember when my dad lost his job as one of the Senior VPs at Wells Fargo to an illegal....

saying playing card games is practising dark magic is like saying playing a video games like call of duty makes you a soldier it doesnt
Thank you for being logical.

You'd have to be high as a kite to believe Harry Potter is witch-craft.

It's a movie, originally scripted on a napkin by a then-homeless British woman.
It's comparable to Mother Goose's Stories, Arabian Nights, and most of Disney animated movies.

If your child takes Harry Potter too seriously, and speaks pig-Latin while waving a plastic wand, simply send him/her to Switzerland for a year. ;)

As for magic cards...

... people still play with those things?!?!?
Dungeons & Dragons, now there's a classic! :D
