The bible commands us to be there for each other. If a brother (or sister) sins, has problems, is sad, we should offer advice if we can, and prayers in either case. How can we do this if we do not know they are having problems?

This makes a lot of sense except that if people have questions or issues with these things you want them to keep silent? The better solution is just for you personally not to open them if you have an issue, and hope that people keep the topic appropriate. One can discuss sex without being vulgar. Surprise I know, but it's very easy.

Some friendly advice. I agree with Nautilus just do not go to the threads that you think may bother you. Its really quiet that simple. Everything you mentioned is a part of life and a struggle to some who need to talk about it because its a very real factor in their lives and they need direction and advice.

someone should put up a thread for those who want to talk about sex and another for those who want to show pictures of endangered or dead animals and another for people who want to talk about drugs. Or why not make a thread that says ABUSE.

You know this site has moderators right? And they will step in if any thread gets out of line or becomes possibly harmful to minor.

Official site policy is that these subjects are in no way taboo as long as they are discussed in a mature, discreet fashion. These are issues that many people struggle with these days so if these threads bother you, don't read them.

I think we need to always address these topics. Christianity is more than "Oh man God is awesome!", Perhaps we should have a mature board devoted to subjects of a more mature nature like these, but this forum is for support on some of these topics. The Bible is a very mature book in and of itself. I always laugh when people read about what happens AFTER David kills Goliath for the first time haha. You seem easily offended by subject matter. Have you read whole stories in the Bible??
