A short story. Thirty Christians are in a room discussing a Bible topic. Lots of discussion and good head knowledge passed back and forth. A Christian sister comes in the room and announces her cancer has spread. Four of the thirty acknowlege her. In a 30 minute period she repeats 4 times her cancer has spread, she is having difficulty breathing, it hurts to breath, and she feels she is going to pass out. All in the room see this but continue their Bible discussion as if this sister was not even present. Only four pay any attention at all to this Christian sister. Lots of good Bible head knowledge in the room but very very few with any heart or care.

True story. It happened HERE today in the Bible study room. :(:(:( Is this true Christianity???

Her name is Bigfatnoodle and I have been encouraging her for the past 2 weeks to remain strong in her faith even through this tough time. I've been talking in PMs mostly.

Only four pay any attention at all to this Christian sister. Lots of good Bible head knowledge in the room but very very few with any heart or care.
Reassess this statement please.

I feel bad for her.... but anyone that needs to repeat them selves over and over again. I don't know? she was maybe looking for comfort, someone to help her get through the rough time.. I probably would do that too... But not in a crowd of people... Its like OVER ATTENTION.... Like hey my mom just died so I'm gonna interrupt the pastor get on the mic at church and be like HEY EVERYONE MY MOMS DEAD!!!!! seriously... I"m not trying to be mean. Maybe she doesn't know how to funnel sympathy? Maybe she has had no one that cares about her in a way she thinks she deserves... I pray for her and her cancer. birth=life life=sin sin=death. We all must go through this horrible cycle.
