for his anger but for a moment ;

I like Isaiah 61 - especially v 3 .....
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the lord for the
display of his splendour.....

Wow imagine that we display his splendour.
Just as human children look like their parents, spiritual children display the spendour of their heavenly father - even if we don't see it in ourselves.
we have the same spirit of God on the inside of us.

This is a great promise from God. Sometimes difficulties are platforms for a greater future, so we should wait patiently on the Lord for our morning of joy.

Another great promise: Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved (Psalm 55:22).
