Young man,

I would encourage you to instead preach the truth for your ministry, you never mentioned repentance and faith proved by deeds.

The book of Acts is a good place for you to start, as its calling all men everywhwre to repent, and follow Jesus on the narrow raod, so what good is it to tell the lost, hurt and dying, God loves them and all is well, when they are dying in thier sins!

Preach the truth in and out of season, your ministy wont be popular, but first and formost, make sure you are in the faith and have crucified your flesh in repentance!

Among whom you also once walked, when you lived in these.

Col 3:2 Be mindful of things above, not on things on the earth.
Col 3:3 For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.
Col 3:4 When Christ our Life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
Col 3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness (which is idolatry),
Col 3:6 on account of which things' sake the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience,
Col 3:7 among whom you also once walked, when you lived in these.
When I first thought I was saved, and on my way to heaven, I thought verses such as these only applied to those who never said the simple prayer to receive Jesus into their heart, and promise to try and sin less.
But I soon realized how wrong I was, as I lived a very godless, worldly life, professing to be a Christian, but far from what the Bible describes a Christian (follower of Christ should be) I was told I was born a sinner, depraved, and will remain in this depraved state all through my walk with Christ, since I cannot totally stop all my lust and desires that lead to spiritual death.
Now if you truly have repented, and I don’t mean just trying to sin less, or confessing and naming your sins, then trusting Jesus now becomes your righteousness, then you will be able to see how the purified life works.
But the word is clear, which is asking us to do to get! Such as crucify your flesh with Christ, which is dying to self and sin, as this death must occur in a real godly sorrow leading to salvation, not salvation followed by a form of repentance that God will do for you in time, but a real repentance and faith both proven by deeds described although the book of Acts, where repentance towards God and faith towards Christ, was the battle cry, not come as you are, a filthy sinner, defiled, and double minded, filled with a carnal nature, unable to repent and seek the mercy of God.
These false converts who continue in unrepentant sin, such as porn watching, lying, cheating, fornication, adultery, drunkenness, etc., have not done anything to be reconciled to Christ, as without death of the old man, you cannot be hidden in Christ, and walk worthy of your calling.
We are to put to death our members once and for all through repentance, to be hidden in Christ, which death means finality, its over never to be repeated, less you trample the precious blood of Christ again, remaining a child of disobedience, under the wrath of God!
The great hope and joy we now have is knowing we are free from the bondages of sin, and that perfection isn’t about being self-righteous and full of spiritual pride, but having a pure heart through all the lies, hate and darkness we will face when we are walking the crucified life.
As I grow more and more in my faith, I can look back and see where I was and where I am Now, which makes me wonder what would have happened if I stayed on the road I was on, living the carnal life, in great bondage to my flesh, being told I was saved, a poor helpless sinner, and God loves me and has big plans for my life.
All the struggles at this point shouldn’t be giving into your flesh through willful rebellion to God, but knowing that the wiles of the devil will come and come hard against those who are walking in the light, now when our past sins and addictions that have kept us in bondage for most of our lives comes and haunts us in our dreams, or are manifested through our circumstances, we can begin to understand these evil temptations that can come to reality in an altered state such as sleep, and seek the power of God, and His great mercy during these struggles, knowing He looks at the heart, and knows the rebellion against Him has Gone as we suffer for our past life of sin and indulgence.
WE must guard our hearts above all things, walking in purity, not perfection knowing we are a work in progress, as we keep pure and holy in all areas of our life, walking in the spirit and putting on the full armor of God each and every day!
Then these road block we encounter that try to tear us down, and make us feel lost and defeated will not cause us to lose hope, as we diligently seek His grace and power to keep on the narrow path, keeping the flesh crucified from all rebellion and willful sin against Him, but knowing these setbacks will either make us stronger as we choose to not give into them when we have the power to do so.

Well number one i am a girl.

number two deeds dont get you into heaven grace does.

And yes, I talk about God loving them but then after I talk to them about believing in faith.

When I read this comment I felt like you were judging me. I dont really appreciate that. I was in sin, called myself a christian for 7 years. once i got right with God and started living for him, giving God all the glory. My life got better, sure it has ups and downs.

Its not going to be perfect, i let them know that, But I do tell them if they lean on God and their faith in him they will be happier.

most people say things get better but you have to work with it.

Have you seen talk to people who are hurt? No i dont think you have, im sorry im gettying so defensive on this but I am VERY passionate about this. Im not going to tell someone whose suicidal that theyre going to hell because theyre suicidal. i go at it from a different approach.

I tell them God loves them, but he hates that they are hurting themselves. thinking the way they do.

My team and I have lead a few people to Christ, thank the Lord. Sure they still relapse but thats part of recovery.

so please dont preach to me and tell me tell me things that you assume of me. assuming gets you nowhere.

if you would like to actually get to know me and ask me questions. that would be better, But I dont appreciate someone whose judging me and saying that my ministry is going to fail when its already succeeding in the kingdom of heaven.
