Hi. I was just wondering what you were doing this weekend.

I am in the worship team at church I play the alto and soprano sax.
So for a large part of the day we have been having the final rehearsal for the Christmas carol concert.

We are wearing red and black so have just bought a red top. Am now
Drinking coffee in a cafe and am about to go hunting for some red shoes.
Preferably ones I can walk in! I can't cope with killer high heels.

Then sun will mostly be at church. :)

A husband and daughter died many years ago.
A son and granddaughter lives many miles from me.
The grandson in town gets headaches if he is around family.
A daughter will visit her step children who do not recognize me as Grandma.
My one sibling decided she wanted to be separate from all family.
I am almost blind, cannot drive.
So I will go dog sit, I will take my prayer shawl and be with the Lord.
No stress, no busy, just joy and peace as we watch the snow.

to come across. You are such a blessing and I am sure there will be many on CC who agree.
You have the biggest family ever of people here who wish you well and want the best for you.

Well, I finally finished the 200 home canned goody christmas bags and hubby delivered them.
Today, had family to visit and then spent the rest of today cleaning house with my hubbys help .
Tomorrow after my family gets back from church, I will bake 8 pies, make 2 sweddish tea rings and dozens of cookies with their help.
If I survive it all, the next two days will be in praise and celibrating Gods glory and gift in Jesus.
Dont tell anyone, but I sneak out after midnight, once everyone is asleep, on christmas, to sing songs to Jesus.
Im no singer, but Jesus does not mind. :)
