I though the differences (in spelling) between humor/humour, favor/favour, labor/labour, etc, etc was American and British :D

It is but it is no laughing matter because the Brits can spell and the yanks copied it wrong. How do I know. The Brits came first.

Did you hear about the police station that was broken into and the toilets were stolen?
In responce, the police said," that they have nothing to go on."

My wife said I never listen to her. Well, I think that is what she said.

I would like to think I would die a heroic death, but I will most likely trip over my dog and choke on a spoonful of frosting.

I know but the funny part is MS-Word has the (wrong) American 'spelling' popping up every time you typed British 'spelling' making the latter look like its wrong :D

I have a friend in Canada that always tells me I am spelling things wrong:p.
Lol! Not only spelling but I guess sometimes even word meaning. Like for instance when I say "too spicy", I mean food seasoned with several spices/too many spices but I believe the Americans take it as to mean "hot food" (with lots of chilly). Initially, it made me confused as I was misunderstood during casual conversation with American visitors in our church (while discussing about Indian foods) :)

And then there is the one about the police arresting a naked man. They had to let him go as they couldn't pin anything on him.

The "Yanks" simplified and improved it -- typical of us Yanks -- take European ideas and make them better...
